The one McVay is pissed about is the middle one where it was called a recovered fumble for 2, bet there is another rule change because of it. Also the trend continues where weird thing happens when we play on Monday and Thursday nights.

They had to go for two points because they could not end up in a tie as then Seattle would’ve likely lost the division.

A tie would have been much more beneficial for the Rams than for us. Plus, they still would have had over 3 minutes and only needed a FG to win it.

Kick that extra point and the most likely outcome by far is either a tie or a loss. Both of those outcomes benefit the Rams far more than us.

Going for 2 was the right call.

What rule do you change? It was a backwards pass.

Like maybe a rule change like everyone must play till they hear the whistle?

Winning the overtime coin toss set up that decision to go for 2pts
It was destiny...

It's crazy how much weird sheet goes on in that stadium in primetime. So many crazy close plays that decide the game

It wasn't ruled a fumble. It was a backward pass, which is a live ball. They're not going to change that rule, nor should they.

It was the ONLY call to make.

To be the best, you gotta beat the best.

The other thing is that a tie would have been better for the Rams than the Seahawks. The Seahawks were looking at the 5th seed and having to go play a wildcard game in the South if they kicked the extra point. Remember that the Rams won the first game, so they owned the tiebreaker for the division and playoff seeding if tonight's game ended in a tie.

I would not change anything, but because of certain catches made against Darling teams they decided to change what makes a catch, because of certain players on teams able to keep their balance they had to determine which body parts touching the turf constitutes someone being declared down. Because of the Raiders having the fumble drill they changed rules on advancing a forward fumble also which I think is where this actually falls.

The call was 100% correct. The only difference could be when the first official blew a whistle.
