Our rotation is one of the most talented in baseball, but also one of the most injured. I don't feel great about them right now, but if they get healthy and if Seattle boots Miley for Karns, then it's a solid group.
The offense is going to be a little streaky but when they are hot they are really hot. Right now they are rolling. Hopefully the pitching can be good enough to help turn this hot streak into a winning stretch.
The rotation has potential to be great if they can stay healthy. We still need to find a consistent #5. We just need either Karns, Miley or LeBlanc to perform and take it.
On a good note, no one in the AL really has a great rotation right now. The AL East as a whole needs starting pitching. Outside of Tillman, the O's have nothing. I kind of like Toronto's rotation if they can get Stroman going, but they still don't really have a dominant ace. Estrada and Sanchez are nice, but neither are a #1. And if Price doesn't get his act together for the Red Sox, they are in big trouble. I'd expect all three of those teams to try to add starting pitching at the deadline.
Right now the best rotation has to be Cleveland. Their rotation reminds me of the M's from a couple years ago. A good mix of young and old talented arms. No one wants to see Kluber, Salazar, Carrasco, and Tomlin in a series. And right now, Kluber might be their weakest SP. The kid Bauer has been on fire lately, I don't even know which pitchers and in which order they'd go with in the playoffs. With the Cavs winning it all, I could see the Indians representing the AL in the World Series. Could be a huge year for Cleveland (minus the Browns :lol
