As much as I would like to tell Colin to shut the heck up, maybe he's right.

I like Cowherd, the guy has excellent common sense. His analogy is spot on IMO.

Pete is getting passed up and you cannot "win forever" unless you can adapt and learn from your mistakes. That I don't see happening personally.

Would've preferred they traded Bennett, Avril, Sherman and maybe Kam this past off season and let Graham go, but other than those guys and signing Lacy/Joeckel/Lane, the roster was/is fine.

Not sure how they're gonna survive with Kam and Sherman's contact next season if they can't play.

Get healthy, get a running game again and possible coaching/scheme changes and the Seahawks are elite.

People will attack cowherd because the message is difficult to swallow but his analysis is pretty well said and worth consideration

Mostly accurate. Our WR corps is better than average, though; he's wrong on that.

Pete needs to wake the hell up and set some dead wood adrift.

Our WR's are barely above average. We need a legit #1. DB isn't it

I think we overrate our WRs a bit. Baldwin and P Rich have been mostly good. Lockett is kind of an afterthought in this offense.

Then its Darboh and McEvoy?

Not much to get excited about, honestly. We need a true big bodied #1.

Our wide Recievers are very average.

Our receivers are better than average, we just don't have an OC that knows how to call plays. If Baldwin was on the Pats, Steelers, Falcons, Saints or Panthers he would most likely be an All Pro.

Ill tell ya what's going to happen. Prich is going to sign with the Niners and put up great numbers next season. Book it.

Out here
Cowherd is one of the better analysts out there. He says it like it is. And he's right. Now about the WR's being average, I buy it. Don't get me wrong, I love DB, but I'm not sure he's a pure WR1. I still think he's at his best out of the slot. I'm torn on Richardson and Lockett. Now that we've seen a full body of work on PR, the first thing that comes to mind is immediate deep threat. That's not a bad thing. I wish he could get more short to intermediate routes, but then again, the short to intermediate game are evil incarnate to Bevell. It's kind of rendered Richardson a one trick pony in this offense. He does have amazingly strong hands though. Lockett is meh. I think his break last year had sapped a ton of his explosiveness. Time Will tell.

Darboh is interesting. He could be a legit WR. Like a 1000 yards, double digit TD WR. He's built like it. His college tape shows his potential. Don't let this year fool you. This staff has a penchant for bringing rookie WRs along slowly. Tate, Richardson, Norwood. Doug was an exception.

Imagine how good Baldwin would be if we had a legit #1 and he had more attention taken off him. Baldwin would be a monster.

I agree. I honestly think ournoffense is elite. I think our o-line looks horrendous due to coaching.

Look at Kearse. We all wanted him gone because he sucked. Look at Alex Collins we wanted him gone because he sucked.

They are now both playing GREAT on other teams with proper offensive coaches.

If our guys are better than them (I think they are) then the problem is not with our offensive players

I dont listen to cowherd as much anymore but hes absolutely right. Everything he said was correct. You cant say hes a hater either because he actually really likes the seahawks.

49ers are another factor. they lost 5 games straight by 3 points or less. cowherd is right; 49ers are only getting better.

the only way pete salvages this is by doing another 2010, and going from there.

I like Cowherd, always have.

I think he's spot on.

I genuinely don't think the players are the problem, far from it. It's all down to the coaching staff.
