I agree with the premise of what he is saying but this thing is far from over. A few changes on the coaching staff and a decent draft and we are right back in the thick of being on top of the division. Pete has to make some changes though, specifically on offense.

Other things to consider are the Rams have had the luxury of loading up their roster at the top of the draft for over a decade. They do have a decent amount of cap space but a lot of that comes from key players coming off. They are trusting Les Snead. Just sayin.

Lets pump the brakes on Shanahan and the greatest offensive mind just a bit. He has been a coordinator in the league for a very long time and he one crazy successful year with a top ten QB and arguably the best match up receiver in the game. He also has his share of the blame for Atls loss. I will also point out plenty of Falcons were happy to take shots at him after he left.

All that said, this is fixable. Two weeks ago we were the talk of the town/league.

Oh and to those that forgot, didn't know, the 2009 season was the lone season at SC he was referring to. It wasn't a great drought and a number of seasons of futility at SC. It was one year and they stared a true freshman Matt Barkley at QB.
