Just released form the Patriots.
May not be ready to play until second half of the season but...

Agreed that this has a high probability.
Unless for some reason he has some beef with Brady.

Gilmore wouldn’t be a bad pick up honestly and put Reed back into the nickel role if Seattle can afford him.

As bad as this team needs him one would think that the front office would throw whatever they can at him. But I really think he's going to Tampa. Damn that Tom Brady. All he has to do is say he wants him they'll go get him.

Pete would want a CB that fits into his scheme and a CB that he’s familiar with. Gilmore doesn’t meet those requirements.

Absolutely go after him hard but I think he would chose Tampa.

And this is why he needs to go.

He can be easily fit in. People saying there isn't room aren't looking closely at the cap situation.

I don't know about you guys but I would have given a 2022 6th for him. Our 6th is looking more juicy than Carolina's right now so I assume they would have given him to us....

It's odd we didn't step in and make a sweeter deal than that for him. Admittedly none of us know what we did or didn't do for him. It's too bad. We could have used him to put it mildly.

He went to the Panthers for a 6 round pick from the Pats. A 6 round pick....

I had hopes since early offseason that the Hawks would make a deal for him. The reality is he is 31 coming off a pretty major surgery so it is possible they didn’t trust were his recovery was at. We all know John is as in touch as any GM so I’m confident he made the call to inquire. Could possibly be a situation were N.E. sent him to his preferred destination, believe it or not some people actually prefer that god forsaken East coast. Lulz

There's probably a reason. Situation is kinda weird. He's not ready to play anyway.

he's still hurt yes? wouldn't play till mid season if I'm hearing right. that would be why we didn't go too hard after him
