Just read he is originally from Rock Hill S.C. which happens to be where the Panthers are building their state of the art training facilities and headquarters.
This has to be the reason for that decision no?Flyingsquad23":g5b7eztt said:Just read he is originally from Rock Hill S.C. which happens to be where the Panthers are building their state of the art training facilities and headquarters.

If not - it's just really strange.
As far as his health being a potential reason the Seahawks didn't go after him more
aggressively....c'mon when has that stopped them from taking a chance on a player before?

I just think its interesting that they passed on Sherm and now Gilmore... there must be a reason we don't know. Its not money because they have some where around 11 million in cap space.

The reality is he is 31 coming off a pretty major surgery so it is possible they didn’t trust were his recovery was at.
We all know John is as in touch as any GM so I’m confident he made the call to inquire.
Could possibly be a situation were N.E. sent him to his preferred destination, believe it or not some people actually prefer that god forsaken East coast. Lulz
