I think anyone who only takes 'production' into account when calculating Miller's contrubution to this team is sorely missing the mark.

I think you pretty much have to lock up Tate. He's earned it at this point IMO. Rice and Miller will more than likely be asked to restructure to make room. I could even see a scenario where Rice moves on down the road depending on the evolution of Chop Chop. I think Zack's still too important to this team as a blocker to part with, and while he may not be the best recieving TE in the world, he's still pretty good. He might be one of the best dual purpose, "classic" TE's in the game when he's healthy. A guy like that gives you tons of flexibility. However, I don't think he's so great that he's beyond asking to restructure...

But yeah... Tater and Baldwin stay for sure.

Never been big on Tate, I actually though he was going to get cut or traded during training camp last year but he built up a good connection with RW. He do enough for me to get a big contract, I'm not sure many other teams are going to overpay him either. Honestly his punt returns are the thing that makes him special, as a WR I think his production could be replaced and improved upon very easily. I was excited for Chris Harper as he was a physically talent prospect who's speed and size could create mismatches and he'd basically been able to redshirt and learn all year to possibly compete with Kearse for the #2 spot next year, but we cut him, and now will be reliant that Kearse will keep showing up when given the oportunity.


I think Rice will restructre, Miller will restructure, Baldwin brought back on a RFA tender, Harvin will be spectacular through the playoffs, and that we allow Tate to leave and draft a WR to compete with Kearse and baldwin for playing time.
