Some thoughts about the Hawks

A lot of people had buried the Hawks and thought with Russ being gone that we were done. I am among those that are very happy and surprised at how well we are doing. I just hope this is not an aberration. I want so much to see all of the naysayers to eat crow.

This season is going better than expected, and what a sight it is to see, especially when you compare it to Denver, Green Bay, and Tampa, who all have their "star" QB and so far, look way more dysfunctional than we were "supposed to be".

I was certainly pissed at times in the first few weeks, ridiculous fake punts, trick plays backfiring, missed tackles.... But then you have to realize it's a process and as they get things figured out things come together. Looks like the D is finally figuring out how to stop the run. The offense and Geno, and specifically the O-line are looking pretty solid week to week with the exception of the SF game.
It's still pretty early in the season. Assuming they stay healthy and keep fitting things together, they could be pretty dangerous at the right time at the end of the season.
