Ms traditionally start slow, heat up later. Sucks for their pitchers, though. And...
Not when it's been a pattern for years, it ain't.How does MLB work again?
Oh yeah, they play 162 games. The really good teams win about 6/10 on average, the really bad teams win about 4/10, and all the rest win about 5/10.
Point is it's way too early to get worried
The team is 3-4...Not when it's been a pattern for years, it ain't.
Not even, more like being down in the third quarter of the first game of the season. The team is 3-4...
It's been 7 games. Take a chill pill.
It's like the equivalent of being 0-1 for an NFL season.
People love to mention that there's 162 games, it's a long season, etc, but at the end of the season it can all be decided by one game. Every game matters. Digging a hole early doesn't help us later, it just leaves us wondering "what if our hitters were at least replacement-level to start the season?"
Raleigh doesn't surprise me at all. I'll tell anyone and their grandma that I doubt he ever hits 35 hr in a season ever again, and that he'll probably never be a plus hitter again. Julio isn't *surprising* but because it's so consistent I don't think we'll ever reach a world series with him on our roster. We need to find an upgrade and move on.
