Ok, was not sure if this was a legit story, NFL.Com corrects that, however reading thru the winners I can't believe Mike only got 2,5 votes and Vrabel won Coach.

It's official like a *referee wit a whistle!

ETA: *that ISN'T calling a LAmbs game 😎
those aren' t official results. Just a poll done by NFL.com to execs. The actual award is voted on by the associated press and announced at the awards ceremony before the super bowl. The seasons not over yet

He'll get it. Getting overwhelmingly good press from Geno crashing and burning reflects greatly on his chances. Especially in light of the same thing happening with Russ previously. His reputation has improved prodigiously.

Probably our only guy who is getting a postseason award. Maybe JSN for OPOY if he breaks Megatron's record, especially with Taylor cooling off lately.

This year he has to get it.
Instead of being a little bitch and raising the offer after Geno didn't counteroffer, he quickly traded him for a 3rd. Lots of GMs would be afraid to suddenly be without a QB when your current one is still under contract, but John was willing to venture into the wilderness.
Lots of people around the country doubted Darnold could succeed elsewhere, but Schneider took a chance and it paid off.

Did Schneider *know* Geno would suck this year? No.
Did Schneider *know* Darnold would succeed here? No.
Was he willing to take both of those risks, and did they both turn out? Yes, and that's why he will win it.

(It's a shame we used that 3rd on Milroe, though)
