So, for all of those who were calling for his head on the chopping block, how do you feel now??
I know you said "Etc" but it deserves adding the Leonard Williams and Ernest Jones trades. Absolutely transformative to this defense and they were risky. If JS failed to follow through and get them re-signed, he would have been giving up a second-rounder each for a half-season rental. Instead, well, we're the #1 defense in 2025.
they'll still find something.. it never ends same with those who dislike players. So, for all of those who were calling for his head on the chopping block, how do you feel now??
Oh, that's right. Boy, Baker was a joke. MacDonald really had a couple of misfires in his first year before getting things right.Ernest Jones was acquired for a 4th and Jerome Baker (remember that guy??), which makes that trade even better![]()
I don't remember if I ever called for his firing, but I did turn into a Schneider critic/skeptic around 2017. I definitely thought, at the very least, he needed to reevaluate his scouting department. So, for all of those who were calling for his head on the chopping block, how do you feel now??

I thought Baker was flat cut and signed with Miami.Oh, that's right. Boy, Baker was a joke. MacDonald really had a couple of misfires in his first year before getting things right.
Please don't tell my daughter about these...she's all about the lashes now a days haI don't remember if I ever called for his firing, but I did turn into a Schneider critic/skeptic around 2017. I definitely thought, at the very least, he needed to reevaluate his scouting department.
But I must admit, I was wrong, and for my transgressions, I shall sentence myself to 40 lashes.

Not gonna happen...but that collective was growing momentum about 4 years ago.So, for all of those who were calling for his head on the chopping block, how do you feel now??
Why would they be? The main criticism was his failure to adequately address the interior OL and he did that. So, for all of those who were calling for his head on the chopping block, how do you feel now??
Even if Seahawks win it all this season, I can't wait to see who we draft this April. John is that good.If John can draft like he has the last couple of years for the next 2-3 we might have what we should have had in the 2013 era. John is the best GM in football hands down. Hope they give him a lifetime contract.
I've said exactly the same thing. When he first arrived, Pete had an intimate knowledge of players in the college ranks as they either played for/against him, were someone he recruited, or that he had contacts with others within the CFB ranks whom he could rely on for opinions. Of course, I have no concrete evidence to support my theory other than the fact that further he got away from his CFB experience, the worse his personnel decisions got.BINGO!!
Pete was good when the talent he was picking from the draft he played with or against in college and knew of it.
Once he was removed from the college world for a while the quality of drafted dropped immensely.
Once JS was given the reigns by Jody our drafts started hitting more frequently. Johns scout team did great work and He himself I have no doubt follows college pretty close as well.
