Dude was mid at best when he was here. I see the need but not the value.
Yeah, he just brings back bad memories. This was when Pete should've been drafting better players instead of trying to create a Hallmark moment. Although he always seemed to have pretty tight coverage, he would never turn his head to locate for the pick(forget about fade routes), and his brother was completely lost out there.

This is what drives me crazy and Riq des this too..
How can you defend a pass you cannot see?
It's the dumbest thing ever!

I probly never would have made it as a DB coach. You can stay in contact with your assignment but I believe in playing the ball instead of just playing your man. Playing the man means you are strictly reactionary which means your guy automatically has the advantage.

Shaquill was a middle-of-the-road-plus guy who wasn't quiiite good enough to secure a second contract. Now he's older.

99% of DBs in the NFL don't turn their heads. Try watching other teams' players once in a while.
I know what you're saying, and when you're getting beat on the route you don't. But you pretty much know the route at a point. At that time if you're in position you look. He was usually in good position. Sherman always looked because he recognized early. You'll never make a play if you're just reading eyes and trying to poke

That is certainly an option, but there aren't any better Hawks fan sites on the web. Instead, I think I will:
  • Continue to mostly lurk as I have for the past decade or so; and
  • Not hangrily comment about the first easily avoidable spelling mistakes I see in a post before digging into lunch.
Does that work? 🍻

Well, with any luck, he will wind up just being a camp guy and a younger and much cheaper guy with upside will beat him out.

Older, wiser maybe? Can age and treachery compete with youth and skill? Charge on! (UCF Knight)

I hope he's not "just a camp guy" but it would definitely be a plus to see a younger player with upside beat him out. Honestly, I was impressed with Jobe at times last season. I see potential there.

THIS.

It has been clear for some while the team has felt the depth at CB wasn’t sure enough so they have been looking at several of the available journeyman FAs to ensure they open TC with a group at the position that is a bit more certain than the young players they have there now.

I believed they’d sign Rasul Douglas as Griffin apparently want more $ but here we are, Griffin must have caved a bit; and it is clear he will need to really compete to be a starter.

The team likes Josh Jobe so Griff’s signing is clearly a more certainly a depth pick-up.

Keep on commenting. This site needs all the spelling and grammatical corrections you can provide!

10 years ago, 3 mill was a sizable chunk of the cap. Now? Is he even on the 51 list? ;)

I’m pretty sure you probably weren’t really asking but the current cutoff got the top 51 is at $1.03 million
Yeah, I was being a bit hyperbolic. Still not much of an effect, and if he makes the final cut, it won't bust the budget.
