Looks like we're going to get help on top of our win. Sux beat the Assholes, Mets might beat Texass again, and Oakland has an early lead over KC.

Mets take the lead! Let's hope they hang on through the bottom of the ninth! Crazy standings in the AL West after tonight if they do.

Forbes has an article about MLB pitchers figuring out Julio. Didn't even know they did sports.

Unless Julio learns to stop swinging at bad pitches he'll never see any good ones. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, Raley got jobbed on that last AB.

A nice gutty win over a great team. Love how they got ahead early and then kept adding on. Worked through a lot of their bullpen. Hope they're a bit tired going forward.

Nice way to start a road trip and the series against one of the best teams in the league. Thornton and Sauce looked a bit ragged there. Moony with the 5 out save. Hope we're not over using him.

Me too. Unfortunately, there's no one else in the pen that Servais can trust right now. Everyone else has been wildly inconsistent. Any guy out there might look great one night and then completely shit the bed the next night. Makes it awfully hard to manage your bullpen when you only have 1 guy that you can reasonably have confidence in.

If the M's divisional lead holds like this till the all-star break, as precarious as our situation may be as a complete team, it's looking like our collapse (if it happens) would be epic in nature for the M's. Bizarre.

Yeah… idk what’s changed (if anything tbh) but the kid damn near looks like a college or high school kid chasing everything thrown at him. Too focused on trying to hit a HR than just getting on base

I put nothing past the mariners. Feel like we've nearly seen it all. Could collapse or could go on and win the world series.

We're due for some good fortune and a bit of luck to be honest. If some of our prospects in the minors hit and are good as advertised and the pitchers stay healthy there's a good chance they are at least a consistent play off team, hopefully like an Astros run without the cheating. Astros were a joke team for a long time.

I will say though, it's been a fun season so far. Good vibes at the ball park as well and good crowds.

And we did it without 2 or 3 100 loss seasons in a row. ;)

Exactly times a million.
Less swinging at bad pitches=higher OPS, higher OBP, more GOOD pitches he will get to hit, etc

It's gotten so bad that I almost groan whenever he's up to bat. Hope he's not just a one-year wonder.

We're the biggest divisional leader now in spite of having the lowest winning percentage of the six divisional leaders. LOL. There's a certain amount of luck involved in our playoff and divisional winning aspirations.

Our good fortune so far this year has just as much to do with good luck as it does with the overall quality of our play.

But I'll take it. It's exciting. Just don't want ownership to feel too self-satisfied

Lmaoo. He set records for Ms and MLB for his first 2 years.
Meanwhile, the first-two-years record setter "looks like a college or high school kid chasing everything thrown at him". Which we can all agree is true. Maybe I should have said I hope he's not a two-year wonder. Anyhow, yes, he's still young. Look fwd to less "chasing everything thrown at him" soon.
