Meanwhile, the first-two-years record setter "looks like a college or high school kid chasing everything thrown at him". Which we can all agree is true. Maybe I should have said I hope he's not a two-year wonder. Anyhow, yes, he's still young. Look fwd to less "chasing everything thrown at him" soon.

Forgettable night, TBS. JP got jobbed, can't blame him for going ballistic on the ump. I think he wanted to get tossed after those first couple of ABs. He had 5 or 6 egregiously bad calls. Might as well sit it out if you're getting screwed like that.

The Rock is on the bump tomorrow. Maybe a better day ahead.

Before today, he has been solid. The offense is just plain not good enough. He had a losing record with an ERA barely over 3.

Again, same shit just keeps popping up. THE....OFFENSE....IS....NOT...GOOD....ENOUGH.
They are satisfied with almost a contender. As long as they make money.

Prove me wrong. You haven't in your entire existence.

Not gonna win many games in Cleveland these days scoring just 3 runs.

I gotta admit, I am very envious of that Cleveland lineup.

Kwan might be the most underrated player baseball. He's legitimately one of the best players in MLB, but I rarely, if ever, hear his name mentioned outside of Cleveland games.

Usually, Cleveland is a team known for pitching and defense. Three runs should actually be fairly competitive against them, assuming your own pitching is doing an adequate job. It's teams like NY, Baltimore, and Houston that you generally have to score a lot of runs against.

They have a .400 hitter and a guy with over 60 rbi's.

They're tied with Philly for 4th most runs per game in all of MLB this season. Only the Yankees, Dodgers, and Orioles score more runs per game than Cleveland, and in the case of NY and LA the difference is so small it's basically insignificant.

We're just not quite there yet with regards to being an elite team. Especially offensively. We're a good not great team. Cleveland and the Yankees seem to be a level above just now. Obviously that can change, especially if we get some additions.
