You either can go or you can't. You either don't go or you do. I'm not gonna' judge what other people do. I choose to keep going, but I'm not gonna' lie, it's getting tougher to justify paying what we are paying.

To each their own, but I really prefer watching games from home now. Granted, I'm almost 50 and I live 3+ hours away, but it really isn't those factors or even the now absurd ticket cost. I just find it more enjoyable to take in a game, or multiple games, where I can throw meat on the smoker, drink my own alcohol, sit on my own couch and use my own bathroom where there's never a line. If the Hawks are laying an epic egg **cough**2024Giantsgame**cough** I can just turn the channel and/or go be productive around the house. I never thought I would arrive at this point in my life considering I've attended almost 50 Seahawks games literally all over the country in the last 39 years, but here I am, and I love it.

-I gave up my season tickets (100 level mid, goal line, Kingdome) when the price zoomed up to barely affordable and I was informed that my seats in the new stadium were 300 (or whatever the top level is now) level, most of the way up, in a far corner. The reward for being a loyal fan and losing my voice each week during the 90s when were were losing more than winning.

As to this increase, They're doing it wrong. The price of the top-tier seats (box, etc) should be going up while the more blue-collar seats way up there should be drastically reduced in price to get the loud fans back in.

This exact message should go back to any Seahawk player or anyone in the organization that asks for the fans to be louder. How about stop killing the fans with insane price increasesas as your best fans are typically not wealthy.
They (the owners) do not care for the fans, aside from being paid.

A nice vacation with the family every other year would probably make way better memories than having season tickets? But that could just be my opinion. Ticket prices have gotten ridiculous and the product has gotten worse.

Does the cost of a full season vary dependent on how many home games a team gets? (Sometimes 8, sometimes 9)?

@AROS $3000 a seat or is that for two seats?

I’m a NHL half season STH and pay $8k for two seats. That gives me 21 games. Man, sports are an expensive hobby.

Sadly no. in 2024 we had 9 regular season and 1 pre season game at home. In 2025, we will have 8 regular season and 2 pre season at home. And the price went UP.

No it's for two seats which is still very expensive to me and it will only continue to increase every year. It's all good, like I've said before, I got to see the best years this franchise has ever had to date at the stadium surrounded by 70,000 other crazies, and back then mostly 12s, not the horsecrap going on these days (LOB/Championship Era), Beast Quake, The Tip, on and on. I feel quite satiated as far as attending games anymore. The comfort of my living room, TV, no lines for the bathroom and ungodly food and beverage and parking costs?

Yeah I'm good. :)

Night games are a blast, sure, but a major hassle w/work schedule, etc. Funny how I never really noticed it much when the HFA was great.

I know I might be the angry man yelling at the cloud, but back in the day, season tickets didn't take up the same percent of your take home income it does now. Heck, at one time I had partial baseball, partial basketball (shows how old I am) and full football. Now, I pick a couple games a season that I want to go to and I add UW games and Kraken to the mix. It's more affordable and feel like I get more time back in the day/week.

Makes sense. Everyone has their own outlook on it and/or how much they want to spend on their entertainment.

These days I am more apt to catch an early season home game with my buddy or my daughter before weather makes the nearly 4 hour drive not worth it. So basically September and early October games. The rest of the season I will watch safely and comfortably in the comfort of my home.

The days of sitting in those seats getting drenched, cold and wet, are over for me, and that's okay. I put my time in!

I started with a pair for $1300 in 2012 (Great timing I know). Over the following years, I obtained another pair, moved a little more central and down and with increases I as paying over $4000 for the 4 seats (I really don't remember, it could have been 6k). In 2021 or 2022, I gave up my tickets. They added a new game, increased prices more since then. Resale value for games outside of the biggest games were basically 1/3-1/2 price I paid and don't forget the true value of preseason games (which you basically have to giveaway). There were cases I couldn't even find takers for regular season games (for free). I couldn't go because at the time there was a significant added cost for me to attend games baby sitting and/or food costs, and parking (which also kept increasing).

I wanted so bad to keep my seats, so I could ideally get better seats over time, but no one was interested even in splitting the season with me. They keep increasing prices on the face value, and let's be real unless your are going solo, or you do have $2500-$4500 to dedicate to it a year plus everything else. It's hard to justify.

I have opted to save that money and time, and use that money for vacations now. I'll try to go to one game a season. I miss my season tickets, I really do. But they did price me out.

HFA and winning because you have a good team go hand in hand. I remember during LOB era, you bet I was on my feet standing and screaming from the second the last play ended until the snap especially for a Niner game. This season I attended the Niner game, attempted it, but then as I watched snap after snap, me being the only one attempting to make noise and watching the Hawks getting it's butt whooped. I got quiet and sat down. If the Hawks aren't going to perform on defense, why am I going to do my part as a fan? They're getting paid, I'm paid a ton of money to watch them get their asses handed to them...live.

I have gone to many games in other realms. I went to one with my brother in the klink. I have enjoyed the games with friends and have met a bunch of guys. I went and saw the Radish in Spokane. I still enjoy some of the game but as far as paying for another game.....Naw. Sorry. I have more important things to do.
Green Bay, Arizona, San Fran in the new zone, San Diego, New orleans, Dallas, Cincinatti, Jaxonville, But I am not going to any more. They have out priced me. My old fun is more important.
I think I am missing a game, but dont really care no more. Sorry if it is depressing....but my time is more important now.

I stand on my feet and scream every play of the game when we are on defense, haven't stopped since day 1. I'm doing my part.

The last game I went to was this years Vikings game and there PLENTY of Vikings supporters.

Maybe a third of the stadium were Minnesota fans.

It’s just embarrassing now to classify fans as 12s. It’s not even close to as impactful anymore.

Seattle lost their core values of being that blue collar team and became too corporate mainstream that has no longer appealed to genuine fans.
