Did you watch? I don't think wiggle is his thing (not Charbs either). He doesn't go down easy, made a LB look silly, and had a couple of impressive screens. That's what I saw. He might have a slow 40, but he showed some wheels in the highlights.

I'm not saying he will be as good as any of these guys...but not saying he won't be either.

To be fair, his longest run as a pro was 31 yds. His 4.5 yds/carry is above league avg and a better stat to evaluate production.

Maybe we see what the kid can do before we tie him to a post and light a fire.

-look at the average yards per carry for rotational backs. many are over 5 and even 6 yards per carry. if they could actually sustain that ypc they would get more carries. fact is its in mop up time, its on 3rd and long and just looking to punt, etc. Im a huge FSU fan and Trey Benson had 5.5 ypc this year. Not exactly lighting the world on fire as a dominant running back

-ya, walker isnt amazing either. hes a good back and can agree hes not worth huge money. my point is Wilson isnt even half of Walker who again is good but not amazing.

Let's revisit in week 4. These predictions rarely end well.
- we can actually revisit by the draft. if they take someone they already know this guy isnt the bell cow.

hes so great but the packers wouldnt keep him for no money? no one is arguing the price difference may have meant this had to happen. the argument is theres no way he gets close to matching the production of this past year which many of you are claiming seems to be a sure thing.

He had 500 yards for a playoff team last year in spot duty. Two years in a row in fact with Jacobs in the backfield. To me and people that actually study the game know that he’s the perfect complimentary back and is most definitely a proven commodity. I didn’t even know he was available. Super good move by Schneider

I saw on one of EW's highlight reels he hit a 80 yard run? Imo his top end speed looked good.Number 40 for Cincy was CB Micah Abraham who ran a 4.43 at his pro day.

As far as no highlight showing the same burst to the outside as Walker, anyone hoping for that in any RB we sign is setting themselves disappointment. That was a special trait that Walker did possess that very few running backs, even the top ones in the league have to his level.

@classicaaron chill out, stop being so negative about everything with this off season already. while we appreciate and value everyone's perspectives, input and opinions.. the constant negativity will just end in you being shown the door, either temporarily or permanently. This dude hasnt even been inserted into our scheme here (none of our own players have with the new OC) so no one knows how this will work out other than its a cheap deal which isnt a loss for us. But regardless of all that, just step back from that ledge some.
