I would buy the team and absolutely not change a single paradigm in how the franchise has been operating since the Allen's took over. Allocate money whenever and wherever needed and let the football people run the football team.

I would be Paul Allen reincarnated. Without the beard.

I didn't know Paul had a girllfriend.

I'd buy the team, move it to Alaska for an extreme homefield advantage, buy a fleet of 787s for the team, and sign over the profits to the front office to spend on keeping our players in luxury.

Oh, and just to stick it to the Patriots, we'd play on the field at the High School of the North Pole Patriots.

j/k, I'd make the NFL Owners sign a document saying that the Seattle Seahawks can never change their name, they can never move, and all income from the Seahawks are spent by the front office on keeping the players in the best health possible (mental, emotional and physcial), and keeping them in top notch facilities. In perpetuity...

Sorry for the title grammar correction, but I feel the urge to live up to my reputation...

*You're the new owner.

If I was the new owner, I would get DEEP into AI technology. I'm a solutions architect by trade and it's crazy what can be done right now already that most people don't even realize. At the current stage, the power isn't really in general LLM AI like the regular ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.; it's with what you can accomplish using purpose-built AI agents and creative orchestration combined with SPECIFIC LLM models trained in focused areas rather than general overall "everything" like the aforementioned services people commonly use. I would literally be hiring AI experts to create and train video footage models focused on analyzing NFL game plays and such. You could get to the point where at the beginning of each week in the season you feed your next opponent's full game footage from that season to date to get deeper and better insight on them than humans are capable of doing in such a short time frame. Imagine Macdonald just asking his "Seahawks Opponent AI Chat" things like "how many stunts did the 49ers perform last week", "did they try to force the ball to CMC a lot", "how well did Brock Purdy do passing when both of his primary throwing lanes were disrupted while he still held the ball", etc.?

The possibilities are mind-boggling and I don't know if any NFL teams are even seriously pursuing what I just outlined above. If anybody with the Seahawks organization sees this, I'd be happy to chat privately, send me a message. :)
You effin geeked out tech monster. Pimping out automation and data manipulation for access... SHAME. :)

If I was the new owner. New unis, stick with modern logo with silver helmets and silver pants.

Purchase more land around VMAC and make it even better for everyone from HC down to the kickers.

I’d get rid of the bleachers at Leuman. Make them seats like the rest of the stadium. And I’d tell the announcer to stop with the dumb 3rrrrdddd down call.

I’d give Mac and Jon 10 year extensions. And sign the rb from the jets, along with White from Tampa. And sign the CB from Jacksonville to take Woolen spot.

I would keep the entire front office and coaching staff in place. I would suggest to John since this team is in an ideal window right now, maybe be willing to throw around some bonuses up front to guys like Walker to keep them around, lower the cap hit and push the can down the road?

Biggest visible difference that the average fan would see would be owner box. You wouldn't see the owner in a suite looking like he's calmly sipping a glass of wine. You'd see the owner and his crew in all kinds of team gear. Jerseys, funny hats the whole bit. You'd see beers in front of everyone and platters of wings, nachos....probably leading to food stains on those jerseys I mentioned in the previous sentences

I'd find a way to allow fans to come to games at an affordable price. Sell a portion of the stadium for $50/pair available with limitations to fans in attendance at pre-season games. ...or something like that.

Imagine you are the new ownership group of the Seattle Seahawks. What would be your first three moves? Would you commit to an immediate push for contention—targeting key free agents, investing heavily in the offensive and defensive lines, and potentially making a bold trade for a franchise quarterback—or would you take a longer-term rebuild approach centered on draft capital, player development, and salary cap flexibility? How would you define the team’s identity: defensive dominance, explosive offense, or balanced physical football? And how would you ensure alignment between ownership, the general manager, and the coaching staff so that everyone is executing the same vision?
Beyond the roster, what changes would you make off the field? Would you enhance the fan experience at Lumen Field, invest more in analytics and sports science, take further steps to strengthen the franchise culture? How aggressive would you be financially—willing to spend heavily now for a championship run, or prioritizing long-term sustainability? Ultimately, what would success look like in your first three years as owners, and how would you measure whether your strategy is working?
My first move as owner would be to have a press conference stating clearly that the team is staying in Seattle, I am committed to investing whatever I need to invest to provide state of the art facilities and care to my staff and team, and that football people will be making the football decisions for this team.

My second move as owner would be to continue enjoying my riches as a rich dude and to not meddle. I'd be hands-on in terms of making sure the facilities are the best in the league all-around, the gameday experience for fans is second to none, and that John knows I'm not going to breathe down his neck on football decisions and that my checkbook is open for whatever he needs.

My third move is to continue on that path in perpetuity.

I'm a fan with strong opinions, but it'd be the ultimate hubris to insert my opinions and want football guys like John Schneider to operate the team according to my wishes over his own.

EDIT: With that said, yeah, I'm personally cleaning house if the team gets real bad, like 3 sub-8 win seasons in a row or somethin'. Other than that, go do ya thing boys.

EDIT 2: Okay... I might meddle bigtime when it comes to uniform decisions. That's all.

I wouldn't ever do anything to interfere-- except maybe install my nephew as GM. He's a troubled but good kid. Almost applied to a business school while he was incarcerated. He needs a job and this would be good for him.
Then I would ask the state to pay for moving the stadium about a mile closer to Sea-Tac.

But seriously, I'd invest more in scouting, intel, coaching, and support infrastructure (-not that we're lacking).

I would make Jerry Jones look like a hands off owner!
1) Change the uniforms back to the 80's and leave it.
2) Draft a RG in the first round
3) Sign Mac to an extremely long extension

1. Have a meeting with MM, JS, and Jodi.
2. Carefully consider their inputs.
3. Make a press announcement that the includes results from meeting and assurance that Hawks are staying in Seattle

I think most of the points have been well-made, so I’ll just add what I would do that I haven’t seen mentioned.

I would meet one on one, with every player on the roster, at the end of every season. Get their input on what went right, what went wrong, and how we could do better.

I would also meet one on one, with every new acquisition (draft, trade, FA), before they start, as well as with every player that leaves the team.

I’d want them to understand that they aren’t just nameless, faceless chess pieces to me.

I would make it clear that player decisions come from my staff, though.

  1. Bring DOWN the ridiculous ticket prices so that the Seahawk football experience can be enjoyed by nearly anyone, not just millionaires.
  2. Implement creative ways to continue to afford player salaries after lowering ticket prices, including getting the NFL to lower salary cap dramatically for all 32 teams.
  3. Raise Lumen Field to elevate the fan experience:

Yeah... #1 and #2 are not any more likely to ever happen than #3.

Does AI make you dumb?
That's a loaded question. One could argue that all meaningful automation and efficiency improvements make you dumber; the automobile resulted in very few people knowing how to shoe a horse, the cell phone resulted in people not bothering - and subsequently finding it difficult - to memorize phone numbers, etc.

LOL a Philly Eagles fan friend of mine (who follows all pro sports closely, so he immediately understood this fake pic) just sent me this...I think there'd be rioting if this was actually true.
