Imagine you are the new ownership group of the Seattle Seahawks. What would be your first three moves? Would you commit to an immediate push for contention—targeting key free agents, investing heavily in the offensive and defensive lines, and potentially making a bold trade for a franchise quarterback—or would you take a longer-term rebuild approach centered on draft capital, player development, and salary cap flexibility? How would you define the team’s identity: defensive dominance, explosive offense, or balanced physical football? And how would you ensure alignment between ownership, the general manager, and the coaching staff so that everyone is executing the same vision?
Beyond the roster, what changes would you make off the field? Would you enhance the fan experience at Lumen Field, invest more in analytics and sports science, take further steps to strengthen the franchise culture? How aggressive would you be financially—willing to spend heavily now for a championship run, or prioritizing long-term sustainability? Ultimately, what would success look like in your first three years as owners, and how would you measure whether your strategy is working?

I would buy the team and absolutely not change a single paradigm in how the franchise has been operating since the Allen's took over. Allocate money whenever and wherever needed and let the football people run the football team.

I would be Paul Allen reincarnated. Without the beard.

This is why I am dreading a new owner, buy it, change it becasuse you can, not because it will work.

Let football people do football things! Trust in John Schneider and Mike Macdonald. Feel lucky to own a team with the right people in charge. Look for opportunities to continue to grow the Seahawks brand internationally.

As the new owner of the Seattle Seahawks, my first commitment would be to empower football leadership. The general manager and head coach would have full authority over roster construction, draft strategy, player development, and on-field philosophy. As an owner I would only listen to both the fans and the coaches to help set vision and culture—but football decisions would remain with football experts. I would invest in scouting, analytics, and player wellness resources to give leadership every tool possible to succeed. My role would be to remove obstacles, approve bold but thoughtful spending when needed, and foster long-term stability so the coaching staff can build continuity rather than operate year-to-year. The message internally would be clear: trust, alignment, and patience win championships.


For fans, I would enhance the game-day experience at Lumen Field with upgraded pregame fan zones, alumni appearances, behind-the-scenes digital content, and improved in-stadium technology (faster Wi-Fi, interactive apps, exclusive replays). For season ticket holders, I would introduce loyalty incentives such as playoff ticket priority based on attendance, exclusive team events, private Q&A sessions with players or coaches, and merchandise credits for games attended. To discourage selling to opposing fans, I could create a rewards-based attendance program—points for scanning into games that translate into experiences, upgrades, or future discounts. I'd also explore a verified resale marketplace limited to Seahawks fans to preserve home-field advantage. If I was the new owner, I would get DEEP into AI technology. I'm a solutions architect by trade and it's crazy what can be done right now already that most people don't even realize. At the current stage, the power isn't really in general LLM AI like the regular ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.; it's with what you can accomplish using purpose-built AI agents and creative orchestration combined with SPECIFIC LLM models trained in focused areas rather than general overall "everything" like the aforementioned services people commonly use. I would literally be hiring AI experts to create and train video footage models focused on analyzing NFL game plays and such. You could get to the point where at the beginning of each week in the season you feed your next opponent's full game footage from that season to date to get deeper and better insight on them than humans are capable of doing in such a short time frame. Imagine Macdonald just asking his "Seahawks Opponent AI Chat" things like "how many stunts did the 49ers perform last week", "did they try to force the ball to CMC a lot", "how well did Brock Purdy do passing when both of his primary throwing lanes were disrupted while he still held the ball", etc.?

The possibilities are mind-boggling and I don't know if any NFL teams are even seriously pursuing what I just outlined above. If anybody with the Seahawks organization sees this, I'd be happy to chat privately, send me a message. :)

Thank you...I'm not season ticket holder but I think so much more can be improved. Nothing irks me more than seeing home games full of opposing fans filling the stadium.
That's something ownership has at least started to address. STHs should also think carefully about the resale, but if they just want money, at least there are guardrails for keeping the game-day fans wearing blue/green.

If I was the brand new owners of the Seattle Seahawks I would of been absolutly thrilled and probably be announcing plans before they is even fully thought through, because excitemint are contagious and when your heart is in it you just cant help but to share it with everybody who’s listening and even those who isnt, and I would tell the general manager and the coaching staff that they was completly empowered to run football operations however they feels is right since trust and alignment are the foundation of sucess and it don’t make sense for ownership to micromanage every little details, and we would be investing into analytics, training facillities, player wellness programs and fan engagment all at the same time which might sounds chaotic but big visions requires brave decisions and bold leadership that arent afraid of making mistakes.


And even if the wins doesn’t pile up right away we would stay commited and focused because cultures arent built overnight and greatness dont just magically appears, it take patience, consistancy, and a whole lot of belief from players, coaches, fans and ownership alike, and the city would be feeling proud again and the stadium would be louder then ever and season ticket holders would feel more valued then they ever has before, which are the kind of positive momentum that carries a franchise foward for years to come even if the grammar is all over the place and commas is just thrown in wherever they feels comfortable and sentences keeps running long past where they probably should of stopped.

Id probably tank the team due to my insistence on being involved in every decision. Fans would hate me, but our uniforms would be awesome levels of flashy and wed have all sorts of rad theme nights.
