mods feel free to move this I didnt really know where to put it.

Hey guys. It's officially the offseason which means no more football for a while. I figured I would bring you guys along for how I scratch the itch over the the next seven months, and this is something I have been doing since I was a kid. Basically we are playing some madden, but altered a lot. First, I will not be controlling the players. Success in this campaign will come down to roster building and playbook construction and play calling and of course some luck. Game will be recorded in broadcast mode. Second is the incorporation of two mods that change the game significantly. Sabos' gameplay mod, which aims to make the game more realistic enhancing the QB passing AI, ball carrying AI, AI playcalling/situational awareness, passing trajectories and much much more. Addition to that we have the Sabo's franchise mod installed, which makes games that are simulated and not played stats more realistic, better GM logic for AI teams and more. I'm thinking about adding the fox sports gameday UI but we will see. I will post a youtube link of the whole games week to week, i will also try and recap them here. I can usually between superbowl and august (when the next madden comes out) play every single game over the course of 10 seasons so I can keep this going as long as you want.

Additional notes: AI difficulty set to ALL-PRO which is second hardest, we can run a game on the hardest AI setting if you guys want to see what that looks like. 15 minute quarters but the playclock will run down to a minimum of 11 seconds but we can keep track of play count and take a minute or two off of the quarters to produce realistic stats. I set trade difficulty to the hardest so hopefully I wont be allowed to just fleece teams and exploit too much.

With all that being said I think we can get started:

SEASON 1: Run the damn ball!

Let's go back in time now, and enter a tangent universe, or whatever its called. It's January 2024, and Pete Carroll, Seahawks legendary coach has been fired. Additionally ownership has decided to part ways with GM John Schneider. In a shocking move the Seahawks have hired little known University of Idaho coach Dak Miller, and made him GM.

COACH

Known for Power Running and a 4-3 Defense, expect and old school approach to the game. He's a guru who is involved on both sides of the ball.

COACHES
Bringing in his coordinators from Idaho, you can see they have barely any talents at all. The OC run blocking skill will help. They can get better, or we can go shopping next off season. (i can explain more about coach talents if you guys want)
Everything that happened free agency and draft will be exactly the same as in real life. So we end up with the same draft class featuring Murphy as our 1st rounder.

The months leading up to training camp are highlighted by a number of identity shifting trades and FA acquisitions1
Things are definitely going to be different this year, sending a first rounder, Seattle hero Lockett, and fan favorite JSN to the cowboys for road grading LG tyler smith. I feel like its worth locking down a young elite LG for this price but let me know what your reaction would be.
2
Another big trade, sending Geno and Abe Lucas to the colts for Braden Smith, power blocking right tackle. Note that preseason injuries do not count and game doesn't account for abes potential chronic inury.
3
Rounding out the O-Line with another road grading guard in Landen Dickerson, just have to say goodbye to 2026's 1st rounder as well. (no more 1st round picks for two years)
I really really want to try and assemble the best line in the league but i dont want to leave the cupboards bare. We will probably ride with Olu at center. (no dolphins guy this universe)
4
signed Andre Baccellia out of washington for some Slot depth. He has the fastest 40 time of free agent recievers lol.
5
A 7th rounder for Mariota. Another early 30's reclamation project or bridge QB. For the offense I want to run, I think he will be perfect, I will get into the offensive playbook a little in a bit. He will be named team captain, Kobe Bryant has switched to #7 so Mariota can wear #8.
6
Ok last thing I wanted to do, was get Jordan Davis to come over. It kind of cancels our 2025 draft, but I think its gonna be worth it. Imagine a dline featuring big cat davis and murphy.
let me know if you guys have any suggestions for attempting to get some more picks for 2025.7
signed tanner muse for more linebacker depth and special teams, he is quick and good in coverage.

I also signed a free agent fullback, i forgot to record it and i forgot his name but you will see him.
Also added some random tight end, same story with forgetting to record and his name.
8
I made the team mad by telling the press that there would be no competition for starting tight end. This has caused -10 morale to the team.

K9 and Mariota love it.

Ok lets talk about our offense. If you guys want details down to individual plays I can, but this is already getting long. (it took me 3+ hours building the playbook and situational playcalling editing) Id like to think that the running game i designed is pretty dynamic. Featuring a lot of slot motion with jet and fly sweeps mixed in. Two and three tight end sets, with zone, and gap schemes. Lots of play action and RPOs, counters and draws. Run a lot out of power I but 30% of the time we will be in gun either in a run heavy pistol formation or two tight ends out of gun, this is mostly to play to Mariota's strengths. Passing game features a ton of play action and drag routes, and tight ends over the middle. We have a lot of deep shots on the book but if Mariota cant hit them we will dial that back. The goal is for K9 to carry the ball 25+ times but we will monitor his wear and tear week to week.

Defense is nothing to fancy to start out, i can start incorporating wrinkles as we go. 4-3, we will use a ton of two safety deep with man coverage underneath, i mixed in a couple linebacker and slot blitzes here and there but we wont blitz much, im depending on this upgraded defensive line to do the work. I added some 5-2 formation plays because its interesting and we have the depth now.

Sorry guys I thought I recorded preseason stats and cannot go back and see individual stats for preseason, but we went 1-2 unfortunately9
we lost spoon for 7 weeks, so Mike Jackson will be stepping up. Yikes.

I was going to post more roster screenshots but I am getting close to the attachment limit. Obviously we are weak at QB and WR now, I want to get some better TEs in here as well, I want to go get someone dynamic like Pitts but im afraid the cost. Speaking of which we are exiting preseason with 8 million in cap space left.

Ok we have arrived at week 1. Here is the game. Presented to you by Mike Tirico and Greg Olsen.
You will see that I pause the game and check injuries in the first quarter, apparently we will be without RT Braden Smith for just this game, I guess he injured himself in practice idk how I missed that. Besides him and spoon everyone else is active. Also Sean Payton isn't in this game for some reason its some fat guy with a beard. Halftime is about 1 minute long and some dude named Jonathan Coachman will take you around the league for updates.

Enjoy some commercial free digital football lol and this comes out on a Sunday morning. Let me know what you guys think of the format!

When I do the week 2 post I will recap week 1 and post box scores for around the league. If you guys have questions or want me to go into details about anything just let me know.

Next week will include scoring summary

Obviously coaches are very pleased with the 40-12 victory. I think fans coaches and players got their first look at our new brand of ball.

Offense:
Although offense only attempted 15 passes, K9 ran for 270 yards on 39 carries. Mariota was very efficient the few times he threw and even got a TD pass to Shenault. The offensive line was imposing their will and we didn't even have Braden Smith in there. K9's carries were way too high im going to make adjustments to keep him at average 30 carries, so at this rate charbs should see 10-15 carries.

Defense:
Defense was great of course, 5 sacks and 2 interceptions including a pick six from Wallace. You saw that there are a ton of bodies that can be rotated on the Dline and they were wreaking havoc. But against a rookie QB, this defense is still somewhat untested. The running game for denver was never really able to get going, they only had flukey QB runs.

Injuries:
Noah Fant left the game with a Hip thing. It's looking like he's going to miss about a month.

Monday morning coach wakes up to see that he has already received an email.
223
Coach Mack has already been hard at work watching film all Sunday night
"i'll take a look at the scouting report when I get into the office" Miller thinks to himself.
Entering through the man entrance of the VMAC, its easy to notice the buzz in the air.
21
Players and staff can't stop talking about Walker's performance, but Mafe is getting some love as well.

Ok lets take a look at Coach Mack's reports.
225
Judon is the big threat this week. Coach Mac recommends we focus on countering the blitz this week. They blitz a lot so I agree with him. On certain blitz counter plays we will get better throw under pressure, pass blocking, short route running and catching stats. We get enhanced blocker blitz awareness and better double moves vs off coverage at the expense of the other team being able to react faster to our short pass.
226
227
More details, yep they are most likely sending a zone blitz on nearly every situation. We should be able to take advantage with our quick slants, drags and RPOs. We arent going to alter the game plan much, if at all. We will sign a tight end today to make up for Noah's absence.

It's time to see what Sammy has put together for defense so far.
Coach Miller walks by Sammy Rios' dimly lit office and sees film on pause from yesterdays game on the big screen. At the front of the room Coach Rios's face is lit up from his computer monitor as he feverishly types away. "hey Sammy, let me see what you got put together so far for New England this week." Miller says from the doorway. "come on in coach" Rios says as he rises from his chair and aims his remote at the screen.

"Here are some things we are going over in this morning meetings" Rios says as he plops back down in his computer chair. The screen changes from Denver film to a powerpoint presentation.
228
"The Patriots under Mayo are looking to establish a physical Identity on offense. We need to be sure they don't establish a rhythm with their running game. We need to practice stopping the stretch and other outside running plays this week. Stevenson is averaging nearly 4.8 yards per carry. If we can bottle that up, we can tee off on another rookie QB this week in Drake Maye, walk out of Foxborough 2-0."

Coach Rios changes the powerpoint slide to show some tendency data and a few video clips from New England's week 1 matchup.

*this was the part where I was going to post New England offensive tendencies, but I forgot to record that. This is my first time doing anything like this so still working on a format*

"Ok good work, coach." Says Miller as he gets up and heads for the hallway. "Let's keep the practice intensity going this week, this is going to be a physical game."
Better block shedding Tackling pursuit and play recognition when calling outside run counters. This will leave us vulnerable to outside PA and cutbacks.

2222
Signed rookie UDFA Devin Culp to be our 3rd string TE while Fant is out. We will probably keep him on practice squad thereafter. He has quite nice speed and acceleration.

Practice was normal this week. Everyone's fatigue was 100% so not really any resting. Nobody is hurt or over fatigued going into the weekend.

On Wednesday to nobodies surprise, K9 was named NFC offensive player of the week.

Seahawks looked great. Defense set the tone early with two turnovers and we neve let off the gas after that. No surprise, we looked really good against a rookie QB. Tons of pressure from the D-Line forced two interceptions one from Jackson and one from Woolen. Even though we gave up almost 300 yards passing New England just never was able to establish any solid offense at all. Pressure amounted to 4 or 5 sacks I think. Offense was super run heavy but effective our Oline seems practically unstoppable. Out of our 340 yards of offense only 110 of it was through the air. Mariota was efficient when he did have the ball 12 for 16 passing and two touch downs and a pick. We definitely have QB controversy, its clear Mariota has struggled to get the ball to Metcalf, I bet he would be pissed Even though he went out of the game the second half with an injury, only one catch in the first half. Fans and coaches starting to wonder if Same Howell could distribute the ball a little bit better. Mariota had 31 yards rushing off of four carries so that is something to consider keeping him in for. At the same time he takes A TON of unnecessary sacks trying to scramble. For now no QB change. We tried to limit Walkers carries and it did not work. I even tried subbing him out manually, and then Charbs got hurt. I found out the reason why was because the stamina system was not working properly, so Walker would never come out because he never felt tired enough. I got it fixed, it was something with the mods. But now its working and you will see proper rotations for all positions starting with the Miami game.

Monday morning players and coaches are riding high. Walkers performances are starting to catch National Attention. That is two straight 200+ yard performances to start the year. Talking heads across the land make jokes about the offense being from World War II, wondering if the Seahawks would be implementing the wishbone next. Everyone knows they have their biggest challenge yet with the Dolphins this week. Tua Tagovailoa is coming off of a 5 TD pass performance, and is a shoe-in for AFC offensive player of the week. Their high flying offense led by Mike McDaniel could possibly be the biggest challenge for the defense all year. We are going to have to lean on our DLINE to disrupt their timing.

Lets see what our coordinators got for us this week:

Offense:
1740263331126
50-50 Balance on offense. I forgot to screenshot their play call tendencies. But they run a lot of inside zone on short yardage situations. This is the most potent rushing attack we have faced yet. Passing game they love their verticals, flood and switch concepts. This is gonna put extreme pressure on my two safety deep, man coverage perimeter style.
Defensive Coordinator Rios recommends we focus on defending the medium passing game this week. Tua has the best passer rating in the league for medium passes. This is going to leave us vulnerable in the running game, making it more difficult for our Linebackers and DBs to support in run defense.

Defense:
1740265175325
1740265345559
1740265369105
Defensively this also is our biggest challenge yet. 2nd rated defense in the league. Offensive coordinator recommends running inside to counter the heavy cover 2 usage they like. This will take away a little bit of our ability to run outside. Zone blitz comes a lot on 2nd down. Just like always, we are leaning on our OLine to dominate so we can rush for 150+ Yards.

Tuesday:
1740265621696
K9 swung by my office to tell me he is totally fine carrying the ball 40 times a game. I told him we need his contributions the whole season and into the playoffs. This team would not be the same at all without him out there. Its about fatigue and injury risk.
1740265763678
Maybe he is mad he got snubbed for NFC player of the week. I would be mad too. Derek Carr with not even that special of a performance. National media bias strikes again I suppose. Tua, this weeks opponent to nobodies surprise wins the AFC honors. They just couldn't stand to have a Seahawk sweep of the weekly awards. Mike Jackson NFC defensive player of the week alongside his AFC counterpart, .net fan favorite, Cody Bartman.

Rest of the week Notes:
Practice was good all week. Players are developing somewhat slowly due to our coaching skill. No new skill improvements yet. Team stamina is still high.
1740266202945
1740266237528
No changes to lineup. No adjustments to either playbook. We are gonna keep it rolling.

Inactives:
Noah Fant
Spoon

Can the Seahawks keep their undefeated season going? Will K9 keep his 200 yard streak going? Or will coach overwork him to death?

Kate Scott and Brock Huard on the call again. Let me know if you get tired of the three broadcast teams. I can turn off the commentary.

Scoring Summary: Forgot to record/screenshot
Seahawks held the Dolphins to no touchdowns, still fell anyway, 15-10. Mariota's late game interception dooms the hawks comeback bid. Walker couldn't even crack 100 yards, this defense we underestimated.

Walking off the field after shaking hands with Mcdaniel, Coach Miller heads for the locker room with a frown. Defensive Coordinator Sammy Rios catches up to his stride just as Miller lets out an explicative. "Coach it's all good. It's just not our day, you know defense will always back you up." Sammy says encouragingly. "We can't be losing games at home." Miller says dismissively. "Three or four more of those performances, and we will be back in College in no time." he adds. As they get closer to the locker room exit. The cheers and jeers get louder. The two silence their conversation until the ruckus turns to an echo filled hall to the locker rooms. "you know what they say..." Miller says with a slight grin. "The NFL stands for 'not for long'." He pauses before opening the door to the locker room. "And yes. I know defense has our back. Offense will have your back too we are making big changes for sure."

As they enter the locker room the coaches are first to assemble. They wait for the players to finish filing in after exchanging jerseys and praying.
Just before the press starts interviewing the players, coach Miller takes the opportunity to address his team.

"OK guys look." He says at almost a shouting level, Coach Miller has a loud voice without needing to project. He takes a big stride towards the center of the room.
"Bouncing back is so important in this league." He exclaims, looking around the room. "I am so proud of you guys and how physical you played and practiced this week." Coach looks down at his rolled up post game stats sheet. He then lightly pats it in his opposite hand. "This loss is on me guys. I got completely outcoached, and frankly I'm embarrassed" Miller sighs. Some players mutter support for their coach. "Me and coach Mack are gonna be living in the film room this week. We are gonna make the changes. We are not adding or subtracting any ingredient of this offense, just how and when we do things. We have reinforcements coming. I believe in you guys." He says as he glances at Mariota.

LATER AT THE PODIUM
1740296100752
"Not yet" says Coach Miller after being asked about a Quarterback change. "We are not changing ingredients on this offense just how and when we use them in recipes." Miller says stoically. A lot of the press look confused, some smirk.
"Mariota is still growing in this offense. He's still learning everyday, he busts his butt in the film room, he's a mentor to Sam and a captain on this team. Guys love him" He glances across the room as he takes a drink of water.
"what if he plays bad again?" A lady journalist says into her mic. "Sam Howell was rumored taking reps with the 1s this week surely you and the coaches aren't considering..."
"Look Look Look" Miller interrupts with reserved frustration. "Me, Coach Mack, and all the offensive coaches, down to the QC guys and scouting department...all we think about... 24 hours a day almost... Is how can we make this team better? how can we play complementary football? Just stay tuned."

"thank you"
Coach leaves the press conference. A reporters begin to shout more questions. "25 minutes is plenty of time wasted on these bozos" he thinks to himself. Coach Miller faced the most hostile press yet.

All the coaches are in the main meeting room early Monday morning. The film screen has already seen a lot of use this morning as they di-sect the dolphins game.
"All these kamikaze RPOs and zone reads are being toned down." Miller says. "they aren't going anywhere, just deeper in the playbook, same with these Hooks and Curls. I have no idea how that ended up being our top used route so far this season. Play action passes we are cutting in half. We are adding more play action to our audible system so we can opportunistically take advantage of mismatches. Also, we are increasing the amount of outside runs. Lets Talk about DK. Bring up those plays from the depths of the playbook Mack, the real nasty picks and drags. Lets get him the ball in space, let him RAC it up." Coach turns off the film screen. "lets get to work guys" Miller says as he rises to his feet "We can spend the day implementing these changes." Get ready for Detroit tomorrow. Defense, keep up the same shit. I over rode your gameplan last week and I take blame for that. we absolutely needed to worry about that run game, we got lit up on the ground trying to focus on Miami's passing game. Tua had 5 TDs last week, and we held him to none. Of course we totally win that one if we are playing true complimentary football"
All the coaches file out and return to their respective position rooms and coaching offices.

On Tuesday, Coach Miller addresses the players in the big room. "ok lets talk about our general gameplan and practice schedule this week, We are on Monday night so of course we get an opportunity to showcase ourselves to the world and an extra day of rest. we got the Lions and you know every time these two teams meet its a physical knock down drag em out slugfest." Miller smiles. "You know, Dan talks a lot about being physical and biting this or that. But this defense, is not physical, and suffering some injuries we are going to plow these guys. Offensively yes they can be physical, but we are not getting distracted by all Detroit's fancy toys outside. This running game is legit and they want to pound us, lets not let them get confortable."

"With all that being said lets get into it"
Lions Offense:
1740298300253
1740298333467
1740298348065
They like their POWER, VERTS AND CURLS concepts We are switching to cover DEEP PASS. This only effects DB run support negatively. Lets see how this works.

LIONS DEFENSE:
1740298522521
We are going for medium passing, attempting to get DK the ball in space so he can RAC it up. This will hurt our short passing game a bit. Lions blitz 30%. other than that they are in zone mostly. with 26% man coverage.

"lets have a great week of practice" Coach miller says as he adjourns the meeting. "Oh and remember." He says raising his voice over the commotion of players leaving the room. "We are a bounce back team, no losing streaks." "No losing streaks!" Some of the players shout.

1740298945430
Spoon in three weeks. We are still are down 2 TEs for a bit, losing Arnold against the Dolphins. We need 3 good ones. Lets go get a free agent.
1740298984835
Looks like Marcedes Lewis still wants a shot at playing still. He's 40 but he can run block. Welcome aboard Mercedes.

Good Practices this week. Players still developing slow. No injuries No fatigue Problems. Changes implemented.

Here are your starting Lineups:
1740299178286
1740299205889

SELF SCOUT:
1740299370001
1740299381240
Reducing those Curls this week god willing.

Both Sabo's Gameplay mod and Franchise mod have been updated
1740300081155
I also increased CPU difficulty to ALL-MADDEN (hardest) per Sabo's recommendation.
Week 4 is here and the Seahawks are ready to tackle Coach Miller's challenge to "bounce back" and avoid a losing streak.
Will the Seahawks answer the call? Will Mariota prove to the nation he is a starting QB in this league and silence the critics?" Will Coach's new gameplan get DK more involved? Find out now.
Charles Davis and Brandon Gaudin on the call

Wow what a hell of game that was. We still give up far too many sacks. I'm still tweaking the offense here and there yet the pressure continues. A lot of it is on Mariota holding on to the ball or failing his scrambles. I'm hoping as his chemistry and morale improves his decision making will get faster. He threw 3 touchdowns and no interceptions so the stat line looks good, but we need to get the sacks figured out. DK Metcalf finally involved and a huge threat, scoring as the clock hit zero in the second quarter. Walker left the game but appears to be ok for next week, we held him out precautionarily because of the workload. Our defense was putting huge pressure on Goff. Holding this team to 22 points is a huge accomplishment. But at the same time we almost blew the game in the 4th quarter. The final drive off the game was absolutely nuts and Mariota and Shenault came up huge in the clutch. Offensive line continues to dominate in the run game.

In the away locker room, Coach Miller addresses the team.
"Guys, that is exactly what the doctor ordered! Obviously it wasn't perfect, there is a ton we have to work on... But that was one of the gutsiest performances I have ever seen, you refused to lose and most importantly, there will be no losing streak!"
The teams morale is as high as ever and locker room is full of cheers. "Not much else to say lets go home, we got the Giants next." The captains break the team down and everyone gets ready to do final interviews and jump on the plane back to Seattle.

1741291091786
The moment Shenault gets open for a TD. They collapsed hard on DK trying to keep us out of field goal range.
1741291167230
Blown coverage, blown game. GG Detroit.

Ok one quarter of the season down I will post some season stats.

Mariota: 46 for 77 7TDs 3INTs 99.2 Passer Rating 19 sacks

1741293541899
Even after being held to 50 something yards St Brown is still the league leader in receiving yards.
1741293646367

EPISODE 5.5
Seahawks Record: 3-1

Excitement fills the building Tuesday morning. The Seahawks showed the nation what they are all about last night, and now are tied with Arizona for the division lead. Momentum is building but just about every coach and player knows they can still improve so much.
"Alright men, we are now on our new winning streak." Coach Miller says to the player meeting room. "We got the Giants this week, and as I'm sure you are all aware of their situation... they are winless and struggling. So, in this league we cannot let off the gas or look forward to other opponents at all. We must stay focused on our objective. Winning the division and getting homefield advantage. It's a slightly shorter practice week lets get on this team early and often, I want to start off fast... I know we all want to start off fast every game but let's be the one who crushes their morale and ices their season. No mercy." Coach then begins the PowerPoint slideshow for practice schedule and gameplan.

Offense:

1741295145649
1741295370045
1741295346793
Giants offense is terrible. Jones 2INT 4TDs, They are still trying to find an identity after losing Saquon. Bottom of the league in total yards, points and rushing yards. They turn the ball over like crazy. This results in a nearly 60-40 pass run ratio. We are going to have our DBs ready to intercept and play aggressive. This may result in slightly worse run defense performance from our DBs.

Defense
1741295318106
1741295394127
1741295469064
Giants Defense is definitely the strength of the team. Even though they give up a lot of points, they are capable of rushing the passer andd creating take aways.
They love to zone blitz. We are going to focus on our medium passing attack and try and get the ball to zones vacated by blitzers.

Nothing really to report. No new injuries from practice. We still have spoon and Noah Fant out for 2-3 more weeks. I just realized that the default game development system is not enabled and we are using the franchise mod progression so i have no idea how that works yet. But I dont see any stat increases.
Ok week 5 vs Giants. Man I still have nightmares about the real world outcome of this game. Let's see if coach Millers version of the team fairs any better.
Kate Scott, Brock Huard on the call.

Seattle Defense Continued.

Ok lots to get into despite a blowout. It was close until the 4th quarter. First things first, 6 interceptions is crazy good, without looking it up I think that ties the single game record. Daniel Jones looked horrible at times, yet was able to snag a brief third quarter lead. Woolen lead the team with 3 interceptions, a shoe in for Defensive player of the week. Our offense shows flashes of greatness but is hindered still by giving up sacks. (Might adjust gameplay sliders after 49ers week, give passblockers and QB a boost, we also score a TON of sacks) We easily achieved 100 yards rushing with K9 and Charbs. DK with another 100+ yard game. We can blame being a bit complacent after a big win last week. But we have the 9ers coming this week so we better bring our best football moving forward.

"Well men, its 9ers week." Coach Miller says from his meeting room podium. "And short week at that. We got Thursday Night Football. So we are playing in just a couple days practically. This 9ers team, is struggling at the moment. But when you take a look at their roster you see nothing but firepower. Despite the 2-3 record they are going to be our biggest challenge yet, they are fully healthy on defense which is going to be our biggest concern. I know how badly you want to beat these guys, they have really beaten up on us the last few years even though I haven't been here I want to beat these guys more than any other team right now. Lets have a really great half week of practice guys. Depending on how things go we may simplify our playbooks this week but we will see."

1742681811433
1742681787595
1742681842319
Fred Warner still one of the best in the business. As you can see here, they are zone blitzing a ton. We are going to focus on picking up blitzes this week.

1742681891664
1742681941527
1742681995201
Christian Mccaffrey, not injured in this universe, will be the focal point of this offense. Both in running and passing. They want to establish the run on us, but also be on the look out for screens and verticals. Stats say this team struggles in the passing game, I say its only a matter of time before they get going. We must stop their running game while being weary of the play action pass. Especially the outside zone.

On Tuesday the team finds out that Woolen is NFC defensive player of the week. He his having a great season so far, he is probably gonna have a good shot at beating Sherman's single season franchise record. I think he has 4 or 5 picks so far. Tuesday was also the most physical day of practice with the game just two days away. Practice was good and no injuries or extra fatigue to report. On Wednesday the team stuck to just walk throughs to keep guys fresh. Spoon and Arthur not cleared to play this week but seems very likely we will see both those guys against Atlanta next week.

Thursday Night Football is here. The big story is the rivalry and getting off the snide vs the 9ers. But really the Seahawks need a win to keep pace with or pass the Arizona Cardinals, red hot division leaders who are also 4-1. Charles Davis and Brandon Gaudin have your call.

EPISODE 7

Seahawks fall against the 49ers 27-17

Apologies guys, for week 7 there will be no recording or game week story building because somehow I lost all the screenshots and game footage from Falcons week.

"Hey at least we get our mini bye week" Coach Rios says sarcastically to his visibly upset head coach as they head to the tunnel after a 24-17 loss. The Seahawks fell behind early 10-0 before rallying to take a 17-10 lead late in the 3rd quarter and even get a chance to extend the lead to 24-10 with a red zone trip being spoiled by a Shenault lost fumble at the 10 yard line. That would be the last time the Seahawks hold a lead. On the very next possession around the start of the 4th quarter, the 49ers drove down the field and McCaffery tied it up with a redzone rush TD. From there the Seahawks offense was a non factor. The damn finally broke when Deebo Samuel scores on a busted coverage for 80 yards to put them up 24-17 late in the game. The Seahawks comeback attempts were ended when Mariota through a pick on their last possession. 49ers add a field goal with only seconds left.

At the end of the day, Its clear we can beat this team, minus the blown coverage and turnovers this could of been a blowout in our favor. With many more important matchups ahead coach Miller encourages the players to shrug this one off and get ready for the second half of the season push. The Cardinals are the ones we are chasing. We still have the best rushing attack in the league and DK is 2nd in the league in touchdown receptions.

Since the boys played on Thursday, players are in the building on Friday just for film study and to plan next weeks practice schedule. The Falcons are struggling so far at 2-4 and an aging Kirk Cousins. Coaches warn about the Falcons having a back against the wall mindset. I don't have the screenshots but I do remember Mariota talking about taking advantage of a particular corner for the falcons, and wanting to get the ball to Shenault.

No game footage from Falcons game. Will be back for Bills week.

SPECIAL EPISODE: DK request a meeting with me.

1744147089962
1744147102697
1744147121035

Apparently, 8 TD passes isn't enough to keep DK happy. He wants to catch 8 passes a game and get an opportunity to carry the ball on jet sweeps. (already in the playbook DK...) I imagine this is triggered by his low amount of catches and low yardage. I don't see how we are gonna get the ball to him that many time in this offense. I guess we will find out later in the season where his head is at and maybe we will move him just like in real life.
Simple
Even talking to the media about it.
