Not sure why there’s a fullback on the Seahawks roster. They don’t use the fb often it’s almost a waste. Yesterday was the perfect type of game to use a fb. It didn’t happen.

Actually, for the first time that I can recall all season Russell lined up under center with a FB about 4 times yesterday... they ran out of it 3 times and all 3 runs went nowhere. In each play there was an initial hole that Bellore ran into but by the time Carson hit it the hole had closed and got swallowed up.

It seems Carson runs best out of read option where he can pick his own hole.

Yup Bellore had 4 or 6 snaps I forgot but they do use him from time to time. We threw a pass to him last week and he got a first down.

The reason teams use a fullback less now is it allows the defense to put another guy in the box and it's a little harder to create running lanes. The reason the 49ers use a fullback is because they actually can throw to theirs.

Without doing the research I'd guess most teams have a FB. Pats, Saints, 49ers, Chiefs, Packers, Bills, and Vikings all have one. Those are just the teams with as good or better record than the Hawks

He had a nice catch and run against the Browns too. Maybe they are slowly working him in
