History

Seattle has the advantage in the all-time series with a 12-9 record against Atlanta.

The Falcons won 27-23 the last time they met the Seahawks, which was a Sept. 25, 2022 contest at Lumen Field in Seattle.

The Hawks and Falcons have twice played in the playoffs (the 2012 and 2016 seasons), with Atlanta winning both times.

Looking backwards and forwards

Week 6: After jumping out to 3-0 start, the Seahawks dropped their third straight game, losing 36-24 at home against the San Francisco 49ers. The Falcons, meanwhile, won their third game in a row 38-20 over the Carolina Panthers on the road.

Week 8: The Hawks will return home for an afternoon contest against the Buffalo Bills (4-2) on Sunday, Oct. 27, and the Falcons will head to Tampa Bay (4-2) in a key NFC South showdown.

The Falcons have a lot of talent, but also considerable flaws and I'm not sold on Raheem Morris. As negative as I've been on the Seahawks lately, I wouldn't be shocked if we actually won this game. Also wouldn't be shocked if we followed up a win at Atlanta with a three-score loss to the Bills at home either.

Falcons should be afraid, very afraid, our coach Macdonald will have our squad ready and very hungry. We have extra days of rest, practice, and listening to motivational teachings from the coaching staffs.

Our boys are hungry, they are ready, they are fired up, and they will humiliate the falcons.

Go Hawks

If there’s no Murphy or woolen it’s an L.. if those two are in, an unnecessary tight and close game. Because grubb has a hard on for DK, and that’s the theme of the season

The Falcons offense is no joke. They have playmakers all over the place. Cousins won't hurt you by running the ball, but he'll pick you apart if he has time. They also have two very capable RBs that will need to be stopped. I don't know much about their defense. Our offense will end up in another shootout if our D doesn't play better than they have been playing.

Hoping DK has a solid game. I’m a DK fanboi…but…I’d have to be blind or ignorant to not recognize the subpar play.

Time for MM to get this thing going…

Quite sure an one on one with MM will do wonders.

Atlanta has a great stadium but it doesn't get quite as loud as one might think, given it's a dome. Not sure why as they have a decent fan base but I've seen two games there and surprised at the lack of volume as a home field advantage.

This is a crucial game. If the Hawks drop this one, your going to see a team that has checked out going forward.

This isn't going to be pretty. What will this place be like after another ugly loss? Gird your loins this is going to get worse before it gets better. Too many injured on a thin in talent defense. Not seeing a way this goes well based on recent performance. Gott a fix the turnover differential. Geno needs a get right game.
