Max becoming a Seahawk will overshadow both deals (WR and Guard) without question if that happened.

It would also convince me (and probably you) that we have a legit shot at the SuperBowl this year and not waiting until next year.

Regardless of how old that qoute is it speaks volumes in a read between the lines sense concerning prior swing & miss high $ FA's. This last draft has such potential and high approval rating & the class hasn't even played a down yet.
John is the man and now that the salary cap is fixed I don't see him going down that road again. At least not until the stars align.

I'm still mad about the Harvin and adams trades, Harvin especially as i believe we would've won 2-3 super bowls in a row if we didn't make that trade. It would be equivalent to if after this Shaheed trade today, Schneider gives the guy a lucrative extension. What a sh*tty message that would give to this team who has fought and clawed to be in this position.
