Schneider quoted “We traded for an individual and made him the highest paid player on our team and I would never, ever do that again. We just didn’t know philosophically at the time what we were doing. We should have known better.”

STAFF EDIT

The posted link is to some BS Reddit speculation.

The JS quote mentioned is from a “way” previous interview, and it’s being speculated that this comment has something to do with a Parsons or Hendrickson trade.
Click the link if you feel inclined, I’m sorry that I did.

BTW, if you don’t want your posts being edited in this fashion…..
Well you know, do a little better job please.

That JS quote is old and doesn't reference Parsons or Hendrickson at all.

Had to double check as I wasn't trying to waste my time on that link, it's a bunch of nonsense from reddit. Go figure.

Regardless of how old that qoute is it speaks volumes in a read between the lines sense concerning prior swing & miss high $ FA's. This last draft has such potential and high approval rating & the class hasn't even played a down yet.
John is the man and now that the salary cap is fixed I don't see him going down that road again. At least not until the stars align.

But we just had a visit from the Vike's guard that I referenced a month or so ago. I think he would/could be a possibilty. Rissan? He is a FA.

I like his accountability. Even the best of us make mistakes, but do you repeat them or use them to become greater

I know. He's definitely learned his lesson from the Harvin and Adams debacle. The quote is a little misrepresented though as if John directly addressed Parsons or Hendrickson trade speculation. He did not.

He will still trade for big name (Big Cat for example). But he will not pay them a huge contract before the player even plays a down for Seattle. That's what the old quote referenced.

Yes, correct he's not saying that at present but it's on record.
Yes, again on Big Cat but Parsons/H would want the money before
agreeing to play after trade unlike Big Cat.
