I WAS TOO BUSY PANICKING TO READ THIS. RICE OUT FOR THE SEASON. SUPER BOWL HOPES DASHED. 2-14 IMMINENT.

A joke...and the best jokes have a kernel of truth to them. Nice job! :th2thumbs:

Think of it.....if we went 2-14, we could get Clowney for sure. Think of our defense then! Holy crap, championship, for realz!

On another note, Rice probably flew to Europe to get his dreds cut off. That wouldn't count as surgical, would it ?

This is fine. Players have issues that they manage but never go away. This is to make Rice feel better, not the difference between playing and not playing, so if anything it is a good thing. Look how much it benefited Kobe. And all those cyclists perform much better after being injected with better blood.

In an effort to change my (at times) Chicken Little ways... I will say I am comfortably numb with all of this.

Perhaps no Harvin? Avril not practicing? Clemons iffy for the regular season? Rice with issues in his knee? Turbin out? Miller out?

Yawn. We are still going to crush.

:th2thumbs:

There...my 12 step recovery program has worked wonders.

In all seriousness, I asked Sidney how he was feeling Sunday and he said, "man I feel great". Take that for what it's worth.

What about "non-surgical procedure" do you not understand, dummy?
Dude, chillax. There were all kinds of directions you could have gone with this. Thai wardrobe redesign, Buffalo Bill home video recording advice, whatever.

How cool is that!

I thought this was a free country! We can't even legally inject our knees with stem cells? Unbelievable. :177692:

It would have to be more than PRP injections. Those happen all of the time right here in the good ole US of A... First hand knowledge on this one.

From twitter a deeper explanation

@MCraigJohnstone: Stems cells can be both injected directly into the knee, or used in a "surgical paste", and grafted using porcine tissue.

@MCraigJohnstone: The mesenchymal cells (stem cells) MOST LIKELY come from Rice himself, though they could come from a cadaver.

I wonder if Paul Allen could pay for Bo Jackson's mesenchymal cells. ;)

I assume they flew him there on a private jet. How cool would that be? Flying to Europe in private luxury with a Seagal stewardess........

I saw a show where Dr. Andrews was talking about this. He said he recommends athletes all the time to do it, as it severely decreases their recovery time, and normally they're brand new. And yes, ya gotta leave the country to get it done.

If you haven't seen it yet, go watch the video on .com of Pete's press conference from today. He spends a fair amount of time talking about Sidney and it's pretty funny.

Nice try. It's made from cells extracted from the patient's hip.
