Haven't been round here for a long while but from history I bet this season at least it's been a pretty reasonable place to hang! I've consumed the entire internet post TNF so thought I'd pop in & say how much I loved the game & how much I'm loving the use of TEs this year.
I'm just riding such a high after the Rams game, the whole game, talk about a nostalgic early Carroll/Wilson era win that I've been craving to have back, just to get the belief back that we're not just done, not just losing another close one but that we can serve up magic again.
My only wish from that game was that Saubert was the one standing above the crowd in all the post game pics just to truly cement what he in that moment & the team in general accomplished that no other team has done before. Felt great for the dude especially after hearing the locker room speech from him after the game.
And that leads me to the man who was in those epic pics, Barner. Man I love the dude, not only did he have a really good rookie year last year he has only propelled that forward this year. From a prospect that was just designated inline blocking TE as a draft pick due to I guess having Fant already & coming from a run heavy Michigan offence. The catches he has made this year including the monster high point grab against the Rams have been incredible. His aggressive energy & nature on the paddock is something this offence truly needs.
