Even during one his best drafts in years, people can't even tip the cap. As if it would physically hurt give him some credit![]()

They also went out and got themselves new coaches and a new scheme for the offense. Unless we're saying that makes very little difference to how players perform effectively in their positions.
Maybe they haven't gotten the right coordinators. Or even good ones. They get new coordinators all the time and the same issues always seem to persist. At some point you have to look elsewhere other than the coaching.

I expect a couple of our O-Linemen will take a step forward in the new scheme and new coaching. They also went out and got themselves new coaches and a new scheme for the offense. Unless we're saying that makes very little difference to how players perform effectively in their positions.
Thanks for the permission. In return I'll give you permission to keep believing that the entire Oline consists of trash players who need to be replaced. You can keep believing that if you want.
I didn’t see much of people claiming he was qbotf material. I saw people saying they wanted to see if he was better than Geno who also isn’t qbotf material.Still laughing at the people claiming he was QBotF material.
Geno is now QBoTP. That P is for past. At one point from 2022-2024 that P would have represented Present. I'm curious as to what peoples definition of Quarterback of the Future really even means. Sam Howell, by virtue of being younger than Geno, and the backup, was by default last year, QBOTF. Its not a guaranteed slot, more like an assumption. Its such a weird thing that is only used for the QB position. Currently, the Seahawks have three QBs that could be in that QBOTF nonsense. Four if you want to throw in Jaren Hall. If all four of them eventually get snaps in a regular season game, then they are all a QBOTF. For some reason, this QBOTF monicker has taken the place of "franchise QB". And that is what I think most people probably think or wish about a young QB. They hope he will be a franchise type QB. The whole "of the future" crap is just too broad of a label and kind of unfair to whoever is assigned to it. Is Zabel our new LGOTF? No. Hes a guard that we have high hopes for. Emmanwori is not SSOTF, he is a SS. Do we put "OTF" after every position for each draft choice? No! Any QB that might have a chance to play in the future, is by the very definition a Quarterback of the future. We don't know how long that future will last for said QB. It could be one game or ten years.I didn’t see much of people claiming he was qbotf material. I saw people saying they wanted to see if he was better than Geno who also isn’t qbotf material.
I told my Viking fan buddy that it was a good thing. If JJ stinks it up and howell isnt the answer - they will be able to grab Shaduer cheap in a couple years.I saw on X Howell thanking God for the trade to Minnesota
You're right. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we're letting you go to pursue other opportunities. They get new coordinators all the time and the same issues always seem to persist. At some point you have to look elsewhere other than the coaching.

I laugh at this take. Swing away John Schneider, what’s a good batting average for a gm?A 5th round swap? And what did Sammy cost the team to acquire him?
Strong work JS!
I don’t think he hopes milroe=taysom.I would start by trying to address real needs at least. When you use draft picks for a TE that's made of glass and a QB you hope can be the next Taysom Hill, that's a problem.
