The Unger trade was the worst to me. I’d like to say the JA trade but, I was all in…even at the insane cost. I don’t think anyone would’ve complained if we got the version we traded for although, the fact would’ve stood that the positional value(s)/picks were heavily skewed in the Jets favor.

Best…my heart goes with the Marshawn trade as he’s probably my favorite player ever. But, off-loading Russ turned out to be pure genius. A lot of you in this very forum were calling for that for years. Somewhat premature imo (maybe a year earlier would’ve worked out great as well). But, kudos to those who nailed it.

The Russ haul had a clear and direct impact on what the Hawks did last season.

I dont get the Largent trade. How did an 8th-round pick get us a guy who had just been selected with a fourth round pick? He hadn't even played for them yet. That's some insanely fast depreciation of an asset.

Not about the trade specifically but in a documentary on him from NFL films they say he had trouble catching the ball and combined with his stature he wasn’t looking like the guy they thought they drafted. I assume he was going to be cut so they took a late rounder thinking it’s better than nothing.

Wow, I didn't know that having trouble catching the ball was part of his background lore. That is absolutely crazy given his legendary status (league wide) with Seattle on that.

Old Oiler Fans hate that trade way more than we hate the Ahman Green trade, and that’s taking into consideration that many Hawks fans think the Green trade is our worst.

It's all perspective! I saw the talent in Ahman "Butterfingers" Green, but he would fumble the ball like it was his job! I didn't mind seeing him go.

Adams was on the pricey side, but I know plenty of Seahawk first round picks that didn't break any NFL records, Adams did! 9 sacks is wild!

He was the literal definition of "Blazing speed",
Yes, he had hands of stone to the point of being comical, but he made plays!

You should be evaluating how we ultimately ended up, and what we gave up.

Husky stadium led to the best (easily top 3) football venue in the NFL.

For me it isnt close. Jamal Adams was never in any universe worth 2 first rounders. Glorified linebacker. 9 sacks after being blitzed on down after down because he was bad in coverage equals big whoop dee doo for me.

Guy never cared about anything but his contract. So glad that guy is gone.

The Seattle Seahawks trading their 1977 first-round pick (2nd overall) to the Dallas Cowboys for multiple draft choices is legendary, letting Dallas secure Tony Dorsett while a subsequent piece of that draft capital eventually helped the San Francisco 49ers draft JoeMontana, which was what was originally a Seahawks pick in the next draft.

Remember when we traded Rick Mirer to the Bears for the 13th overall pick? We used it to move up for Shawn Springs while Mirer went 0-5 as a starter for the Bears.

It was the funniest way a team ever used the 13th overall pick until the Rams selected Ty Simpson.

Didn't Chris Berman call that guy Rick "wallow in the" Mirer.

Worst trade: Probably Jamal Adams because of the 2 firsts and such poor ROI, with Ahman Green being a close second. I say that because Ahman went on to have this kind of career:

• Rushing yards: 9,205
• Rushing TD's: 60
• Receptions: 378
• Receiving yards: 2,883
• Receiving TD's: 14
• Second team All-Pro: 2001
• 4x Pro Bowl: 2001-2004
• Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame

And he did all that with never really having cured his butter fingers with the ball. Yes, hindsight is 20/20, but considering what we gave up versus what we received (basically nothing), I call that an ugly trade.

Yeah, the Dorsett mistake was one of the biggest in team history for sure.

Although the Montana thing doesn't really even register to me. I mean, any team could have taken him before the last pick in the 3rd round if they wanted him. Clearly the league didn't know what he was, including the 49ers or they'd probably taken him with their 2nd round pick that they had. Even if you thought he'd probably be there in the 3rd, who'd gamble that?

1988 Fredd Young to the Colts for two 1’s. Young’s best years by far were in Seattle. One of those 1s was used to select Cortez Kennedy.

1990 two 1s from Dallas for Joey Galloway. Seahawks used those picks for Shaun Alexander and Koren Robinson
