Darnold is getting as much guaranteed as Minchew, who is all but penciled in for Richardson as a bridge. So I can see where Frodo is coming from.

It’ll be interesting to see how the 9ers evaluate preseason.

No the opposite: Darnold will start most likely in the beginning of the year with Purdy out. Unless Purdy has a really amazing rehab…

After watching the NFCCG (well, most of it, I switched to 'Here Come the Brides' on DVD late in the 3rd quarter), I'm happy the 49ers have lots of NFL caliber quarterbacks competing and hopefully one of them will be healthy at the end of their last game.
