Agreed. I’m hoping this knocked the cobwebs out of Sam’s head.

I’m still concerned about the turnovers but, a win is a win is a win and they’re doing A LOT of it.

As putrid as Kubiak’d first half playcalling was, he dialed up damn near 300 yards in the second half.

Sam and Kubiak…they still worry me. But, holy hell…what a game.

I got nothin’. The worst thing I said about Sam was he never should have tried that pass into the end zone at all. JSN was coming across totally covered. Best case scenario there was incomplete. Should’ve chucked it out the back of the end zone. I love Darnold, imperfections and all.

Well I finally have faith that we can win a Superbowl with him. He truly is a gunslinger in a sort of Brett Favre kind of way. Not as good but not afraid to sling it no matter how bad things are.

Man…anyone who is/was skeptical about Sammy D, I have something to tell you,

YOU WEREN'T WRONG!

Still paraphrasing a fellow .netter here but, “it is what it is, until it isn’t”.

Last night, it was ‘…until it isn’t’ from Sammy D.

Cmon everybody, he has been stinking it up as of late. He couldn’t beat the Rams…the first INT, I give McVay credit…that scheme he ran reminds me of MM’s. Second INT, cmon Sam. Threw it right to him. A 300+ pound DT that didn’t have to move to catch it.

Ok…’…until it isn’t’. The resilience. The laser dots to drive us down the field in the 4th. Refusing to quit. Going through his progressions until the LAST option is spotted and catches the 2pt conversion…in a matter of seconds.

Yah…I still have my issues with Sam and those damn turnovers but, this game may be the spark that lights the ‘mental block’ firecracker and blows all that doubt away.

I’m still so damn psyched up…as I know you all are.

We’re winning out. If you don’t have the $$, start selling your body now so you can afford those SuperBowl tickets. I’ve already had 4 meetings…$.75 but, it’s a start.

I think he's a good QB, but he still makes dumb decisions and is wreckless with the ball. I said I like a good gunslinger, and can tolerate a TO if the play is downfield and they're going for the throat. Not sure his TOs qualify, just seem more boneheaded than anything.

That said, he stepped up huge against LA, major props. Multiple 2pt conversions to get to OT and ice cold plays to put the game away. Money.

You all know me as pretty even-keeled.

Never get too high nor too low. But man, Darnold doesn’t seem to be him.
Just don’t trust the guy and he has not played all that well since the last LA game.

It was an unforgettable game. An epic win that I’ll remember forever.
But before that Shaheed TD, I was pissed the offense looked like it was stuck in quicksand.

Sam is easy to like. Seems like a great dude to have a beer and a cigar with. But that conversion pass off the helmet was so meh. He almost did it again in OT.

I know that sounds like im saying “Yea But” but thats what I see and I today I am eating crow and enjoying it like a lot of you.

All I know is right now, I wouldn’t confidently bet anything on Sam and I hope that changes going into and during the playoffs.

Let me end this by saying I know our LT was out and that absolutely mattered. I give the team and Sam credit for winning despite missing the most important piece of our OL.

I'm just happy as hell for him and hoping he really knows that he can do it now. Man oh man, to enter the game with that narrative following him around like a nightmare, throw two untimely and deflating picks like that in the biggest game of the season, and then STILL do what he did to pull the game out of the fire the way he did...hats off to Sam.

I may be wrong here but I swear through the first half of the season Sam had the ability to feel the pressure and just beeline through it for a good gain. To me when he shrinks in some of these moments, he gets cement feet and doesn't recognize the opportunity to exploit the pursuit by running.
