After 12 years with the Lions, Matt Stafford was 0-3 in playoff games. Seven of those seasons were losing seasons. 4 TDs and 5 turnovers (3 ints and 2 fumbles) in the playoff games. And he was throwing to Megatron for a good chunk of that.

I've stated on here just a few days ago that Darnold is trash. Not a trash QB, but more of a decision maker with what to do with the ball. Instead of throwing it away he throws it into tight coverage with 3 defenders etc...doesn't make his progressions all the time and becomes VERY predictable of where he'll throw the ball. I still have trust issues with Darnold in the big moment. I'll give Darnold the props in that OT win last Thursday. I'm letting this entire forum know, if we win the whole thing this year, it'll be because of that OT drive against the Rams. That's gonna boost Arnold's confidence a ton carrying into these final 2 games a and we ain't losing either of those games. The NFC is going through Seattle this year.

I would be happy with Darnold if he just wins a playoff game preferably after getting us the 1st seed. I would be ecstatic if he can get us to the Superbowl. Kinda crazy what the expectations are for this team, after moving on from PC. The fact that we are even discussing this in year 2 of MM's tenure speaks volumes about how far they have come.

But @Appyhawk , you're right.

The big game is against the Niners (as I feel the Hawks will take care of business against Carolina next week).

If Darnold can't beat the Niners with how their team has ZERO pass-rush and allowed a Grandpa to drop 27 points on them and almost throw over 300 yards, then my confidence in him will be very shook.

I'm going to remain positive that this past Rams game he finally turned a corner (mentally) so...
