Serious question for you, Mr. Ram Fan.
If you knew four years ago that Bradford's career stats would look like they do now, would you say he was a bust for a number one overall pick?

That's gotta be a tough one.

Not a tough question, at all.

The Rams had the #1 pick and they NEEDED a QB. The choices were Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy or Jimmy Clausen. There is not a doubt in my mind that the Rams made the right choice AT THAT TIME.

Now, if you ask me... should the Rams have taken Matt Ryan (instead of Chris Long) in 2008? That's a much tougher question. I don't know how Ryan would have done with the Rams over that period of time, but its certainly worth questioning.

By the same token, if you ask me whether I wish that the year the Rams had the first pick was 2012, when Andrew Luck was available, then I'd say "sure, I would."

For now, though, I'm fine with Bradford as our QB.

I like how there is a big old "advertise your site here!" thing on Clan Ram. Some Seattle based company should take up an ad there with prominent Seahawks images.

I can put you in touch with the site's owner if you'd like to arrange for a purchase.

Ok cool let me get that info. I will let him know AvengerRam told me it was alright to purchase the right to display Seahawks images on his site and point to this post as evidence.

As long as your check clears...

Yeah I would say that too if my franchise passed up RG3.

Cool hit me up. I am sure the advertising is dirt cheap seeing how the space isn't very valuable internet real estate.

Tell you what...for all the need we had at QB at the time I'm glad we DIDN'T pick Mark "Dirty Butt Fumble" Sanchez.

Great points made. But, but, but, Tebow has actually played in the post-season and has a playoff victory. Surely that must make a difference? :stirthepot:

Let me ask you this Passive Aggressive Ram how would you treat someone posting this type of thread over at your website? One that was in favor or Wilson over Trash Bagford?

That's not a fair comp. Everyone, even Rams fans, know Wilson is better.

Now pretend a Vikings fan posted something similar about Christian Ponder and THEN we have a discussion.

Quiz time!

Is Sam Bradford

A) Hot trash
B) Lukewarm garbage
C) Cold refuse
D) Subzero waste?

This question is worth 78 million dollars with 50 million guaranteed.

Bradford hasn't lived up to his #1 draft pick or huge contract, but I don't think he's a bad QB. The Rams have lacked weapons and changed OC's almost every year he has been there, that can't be easy for any QB. As of right now, he strikes fear in nobody. Call that whatever you want.

That's not analogy. My initial post did not assert that Bradford is better than Wilson. Sorry you have such poor reading skills.

Where at any point did I say your initial post? I specifically said this type of thread. Sorry you have such poor reading skills.

QBR takes everything into account, not just passing #'s. QBR ranks in the NFC west
1. Wilson 60.9
2. Kaepernick 56.0
3. Bradford 48.8
4. Palmer 38.0
And then the most important stat in football
Wins
1. Wilson 5
2. Kaepernick 4
T3. Bradford 3
T3. Palmer 3

QBR is a subjective analysis created by ESPN, not a stat.

And based on your "wins" theory, Alex Smith is having a better year than Wilson.

What do you envision when you look at Avenger's avatar? Lets make the caption;

"Hey guys, it's me, the one and only, Avengerram, in the flesh".

Yuck! Uggh....Ewwwww!

At least when I had a screenname tied to my jersey it involved a rape joke.
