Both were game time decisions, both played hurt, both sacrifice their bodies for the team, both contributed, both set great examples for rookies.

Even Justin Tucker misses a PAT once in a blue moon. No way he’s dropping two in a whole season, much less game.I'm happy for Lockett that he got that TD toward the end. He was feeling kinda low before that.
That throw was great, it's the I trust you throw.I figured after Lockett had the strip fumble and the dropped pass that Geno would go right back to him and he did, spectacularly...
It wasn't that he dropped it, it was how he dropped it. Lockett is a consummate professional, and that's almost an automatic catch. It just so happened that the one time he gets the ball ripped from his hands by an excellent defensive play, he follows that up with a play in which he knocks the ball out of his hands with his face mask. It was right there. And IIRC the game was still tied at that point.Even Justin Tucker misses a PAT once in a blue moon. No way he’s dropping two in a whole season, much less game.
That’s what I mean when I compared him to the best kicker in league history vis a vis the gimme of an extra point. Even the best of the best fail at a 99.9% successful play. Lockett is among the best and most professional as you say and like a pro he shook it off. Not a single person on that sideline thought it would happen again. It wasn't that he dropped it, it was how he dropped it. Lockett is a consummate professional, and that's almost an automatic catch. So yeah, I'm sure he's not going to drop another one like that any time soon, but I'm still glad he got that TD later.
