Another Saints fan here and nothing makes me shake my head more than our own fans thinking we have no chance lol. Im telling you guys now all of that we can't play on the road mess is irrelevant once the kickoff starts. Two teams will have to play sound mistake free football. Hes right about nobody giving us a chance in hell to go to Seattle and dethrone a team that has never lost at home in 13 games. I can guarantee it won't be a blow out like many of you guys are predicting. Sean Payton and drew have too much pride to let that happen and so does rob Ryan to allow that. Whoever wins the turnover battle will win the game i think its that simple lol. I also lived in Seattle for 6 years. Attended eastern Washington university and was there when we lost to Seattle in the playoffs. Was the worst experience at school ever lol, but i was also there when we won it all in 09. It's just funny seeing so many hawks fans now cause nobody cared this much back then lol. Success brings it out of people though! Gonna be a great game Monday night. And for my fellow Who Dat who said this is a trap game please stop. This is the biggest game of the season for us. We do NOT want to go on the road in the playoffs Period! Especially Seattle in the winter. Thats an automatic loss! The most important game is the next one and if we were lookin past it Sean Payton would have never rested our pro bowl guard and Darren sproles against the FailClowns lol. He directly looked past them i must admit in preparation for this game so it does matter a lot! That just shows the respect he has for Seattle.

Not only that, but apparently both of our teams went into the playoffs after having played 15 games according to the op. He said the Saints were 11-4 and the Seahawks were 7-8. Maybe both English and math were problems for him. I'm pretty sure that he will get better at them now that he is in 7th grade.

Man you guys are burtal. I was not trying to bash your team or city. I was just making a point. I think it is a valid point. The Seahawks are a great team at home. If the Seahawks were playing in New Orleans, I would think the saints would have the advantage.

Agreed, Trap game not even close. NFCCG Preview Maybe, I do know thats what the media giants will call it(right after the Manning vs Brady game ends) But with games to go and the Playoffs ant thing can happen, Like I wrote in another thread, look at the record of teams the week after playing the Hawks= 2-8 combined, Only the Bucs and Cards went on to win the next weeks game, and the Vikes have the same bye as us.
So my point, Saints have a great HFA in their dome, But watch out for the Panthers coming in week 14. Just some food for thought.....

Speaking of trap games; I think the trap game for the Hawks is in NY. Not this upcoming game for sure. I respect every team that plays us cause, well, this is professional football. The Giants are a desperate NFL team and very dangerous. Those teams scare me more than winning teams to be quite honest.

Were not that brutal, I call it bye week boredom. And as we have showed we can win on the road. That being said, in the past our team did have road woe's, the 10am east coast curse. So if we bite back a bit hard at times, it's cause the past still stings. but this is now. And yes I would be interested in seeing the spread-point advantage if the Hawks were playing in the Superdome. I will say I am glad it is in our house for 2 reasons, Coming off a bye(another point that stings some) And Jimmy Graham might pull down another goal post and hurt 1 of our DBs. :)

How many of these passive-aggressive "You Seattle fans are overconfident and don't know what you're talking about" posts are we going to get from New Orleans fans? Good grief. It actually makes me miss the blatantly obnoxious SF fans.

Seahawks fans are confident in our 10-1 team. Just like you Saints fans are confident in your 9-2 team. Just because we like our team and like our chances playing you guys at home, doesn't mean we underestimate your team.

Well to be fair, when you come in "all guns a blazin'" you should expect some return fire.
The folks here have a healthy respect for your team and your fanbase and if you want to keep it that way I suggest you tone down the rhetoric.

This is the best start so far of any season for us, we have arguably the most talented team in the league and are favored by most to get to the Super Bowl and win it, so yeah, excuse us if we are a little jacked up!

I can't stand this crap. You can build up this "NOBODY BELIEVES IN US!" nonsense all you want. But most Seattle fans are very aware of how good a team the Saints are. Listen to the radio. Talk to Hawks fans beyond conveniently looking for perceived slights toward your team. The Saints are by far the most respected NFC rival for Seattle fans right now. Fans know they are the team that stands between us and the #1 seed. People know this coming game is HUGE for the Hawks. HUGE. So please, get over this "you don't respect us!" confirmation bias nonsense you're looking so silly running around with.

Just because we are confident in our 10-1 team and playing at home, and aren't running around screaming in terror of your team, doesn't mean we're chalking this up as some gimme blowout win. Get over yourselves, Saints fans. We're not cowering in your presence. Deal with it. And if you can't get it through your thick heads that it doesn't automatically mean we're cocky and overlooking your team, that's your fault for being simple-minded and ignorant as hell.

WOW. What is it with the ultra-passive aggressiveness from these Saints fans. What a bunch of pricks!

I can't wait for next MNF. I normally have very little disdain for the Saints. And I already have more than enough reason to want the Hawks to win desperately. But these Saints fans we've been getting the past couple days are taking it to a whole new level.

Hey now, it's not like the Saints played to half empty stadiums for decades before winning a Super Bowl. every fan they have now was there when they weren't any good...

Nothing to lose, are you kidding? To say nothing of HFA, teams have come away from engagements with our team absolutely reeling all year. The Saints should be hoping they come out of this game in one piece because it sure doesn't get any easier for them after MNF! I guarantee you that Carolina is going to be watching that game wringing there hands to get a shot at you guys the following week. N.O. has everything to lose!

With paper bags on their heads. Lets not forget our histories. But let's live in the now. To the best MNF game of the year. Are you ready for some football as Gruden said awhile back Seahawk Style. right he talked about the Tate catch against the Pack. Wonder what he really meant. just kidding.

Any New Orleans fan that says that Seattle has nothing to lose is a downright ignorant fool.

If Seattle wins this game, we have a 2 game lead on the Saints plus the tie-breaker. In essence a 3 game lead. Our chances of getting the #1 seed and HFA would be through the roof at that point.

If New Orleans wins, the two teams are deadlocked with the Saints having the tie-breaker and inside track on the #1 seed and HFA.

Home Field advantage in the playoffs hasn't been the biggest deal over the past few seasons. But if there are two teams in the NFL where HFA matters more than any, it's Seattle and New Orleans. If one of these teams gets it, they are immediately the odds on favorite to go to the Super Bowl.

If you are not able to see just how massively huge and important this game is for Seattle, you either are not paying attention at all or are simply a clueless homer fan that only care about his own team. Curious as to which that might be... ;)

Hard for some fans to not forget their histories when they aren't even aware of them. ;)

There's no more trap games left on the schedule.

Saints for the #1 Seed
San Francisco @ Candlestick will be a dog fight
New York a team currently trending up right in the NFC East battle
Arizona is still in the WC hunt
St. Louis is the team in the NFL that gives us our biggest fit.

NYG maybe just because we could have the NFCW in the bag, but I still doubt Russell will let us lose. We still need wins to get HFA unless the Saints completely choke.

If the Hawks don't beat the Saints, there is no possibility for a single trap game. If they don't win on MNF, they'll have to win out and have the Saints lose a game to get the #1 seed. I really hope Saints fans understand this fact. This MNF game is just as huge for us as it is for them.
