The Saints a trap game? Why? Because a lot of Seahawk's fans think the Hawks are going to win?

When the team coming in is 2nd in the NFC to the home of the team that is 1st in the NFC there is no trap anywhere.

Saints fans just better hope the weather is good, because if it is rainy and wet? Ouch.

The only way its a trap game is because the Seahawks are coming off of 15 days of rest after playing for 11 weeks just after Thanksgiving. They might not be all there coming back into the fray but on the contrary they might be recharged into kicking ass with a healthy squad.

Also, remember this Turkey of a Game is sandwich'd between an irrelevant Vikings team and an almost irrelevant 49ers team... could you imagine the Seahawks traveling to San Fran to play a possible 6-6, 7-5 SF team. It would be pathetic. The need to be 8-4 so we can crush their hopes on our terms.

What I'm trying to say its not a trap game because usually a trap game means a game against a mediocre opponent between two quality opponents and there is a letdown in performance against the bad team because the mentality and focus isn't given at 100% effort and players are "mailing it in" in preparation for the better teams...

Ohhhhh ... it'll be a trap alright. The question is, who's going to be the one getting caught in it? Lest we forget, this little jobbie -- Guinness will be there at the game Monday Night to give Seattle fans another shot at reclaiming the record ...

Fans there at the stadium are going to blow the Saints a big old 12th Man Welcome to Seattle kiss. ;) I'm thinking windows from surrounding businesses are going to shatter.

I think trap game might have been a stretch, but I am a fan and I was just thinking of ways that the Saints would have the best chance of winning. An overconfident Seahawk team is number one.

I agree with a post earlier. The Saints need to get off to a fast start, and the Seahawks need to get off to a slow start.

If the saints start fast and not face many third downs that might quite some of the crowd noise.

You guys know you love me here. It's a bye week . I know you guys don't want to sit around agreeing to each other how great the Seahawks are. Seahawks.net need a Saints fan to come in with an opinion and stir the pot a little. If I wanted everyone to agree with my opinion I would post on a saints fan message board.

I love it here too. Most of you'll make great points and have really good arguments.

Even though I am a 6th grader who can count or spell :D

Yeah, Seattle's already been there, done that. We faced a winless Bucs team and were down 21-0 at half because IMHO the Hawks did just that -- took them too lightly. They got a huge wakeup call that this is the NFL baby and you need to respect everybody ... and turned it on in the 2nd Half.

On the crowd, I highly, highly doubt that you're going to get those guys to quiet down, especially with Guinness there, as Seattle's going to look to set the record.

You know, I had the same basic experience over at Gold and Black. A lot there who just want to preach to the choir and hear the same old sermons. I don't have time now, but later on today I'm going to set up a Q&A Thread with the idea of having Saints Fans and Hawks fans respectfully ask one another about different aspects of the upcoming game.
