it sounds suspect as hell but even if it is true, what good does it do to incite a riot online over it? deal with it with the police properly, dont form a lynch mob with torches and stakes and try to give the 12th man a bad name. If i would have seen it go down i would have whooped some ass for your wife

I wouldn't have whipped ass but I surely would've gotten the proper authorities.. violence should not be used by our civilized american society

I actually believe this guy's story. Feel bad for his wife.

But there's not going to be anything anyone on this board can do about it.

The injury to the eye is either fake, or more than 24 hrs old. This I know.

But you're a good person just the same.

Dude wish you were here during the bye week we needed entertainment that week....

Never seen anyone from Alaska that feels that he has to point out that he is from Alaska in EVERY single post

I partially believe this is true but it doesn't matter. I fail to see what you want to accomplish. Most of us here have been to games here and in general Seahawk fans are friendly to all. We don't have a court in the stadium like Pittsburgh - atmosphere is good.

So if she got beat up two ass-holes should get what they deserve. They would most definitely have been arrested.

If not true then well get a life.

Either way why are you hammering message boys like a little kid with nothing better to do. A true Alaskan would be out cross country skiing / downhill now. Alyeska is open... Get the snowshoes out and enjoy the warmer weather....

The story does seem "off", but attacking the guy directly also seems "off". Persistence usually proves internet lore wrong, seems that is being covered. Been to a couple of Hawks games in cheaper seats and never witnessed anything like that being started by Hawk fans but it has been several years. Watched a Stealer fan get his ass kicked back in 2003, but he was the same drunk dipshit that was throwing beers at people sitting behind us during the game. Hawks won that game BTW. I know and have dated plenty of women that get drunk / stupid, not saying that's what happened but it could also be the case. I actually married one, been married to the non drunk stupid wife for 14 years as of tonight. Some times divorce is the right option.

You answered your own question... he's not from Alaska. He moved there or is temporarily posted there.

The most bizarre thing about this is the tickets being club level. I mean, they golf clap there, carpeted restrooms, private lounges... The idea that there could be an assault there and no police involvement is just totally wild. Access is even restricted to these seats, it's the most carefully checked part of the entire stadium, except for suites and the locker room media access.

I sit in charter seats, which are about 1/3rd as posh as the club seats, and I pass three or four King County cops, armed, on the way to my seats.

Personally I don't think the story is necessarily bogus, bullshit, or a lie. This kind of stuff happens. Oh, and the people attacking him personally are being kind of crappy.

But I do find it mysterious that he came here to post this, and very respectfully, when he has been pretty derogatory of the entire fanbase, not only in the days after the alleged incident, but if you read his posts in the days leading up to the alleged incident, he was roasting the fanbase for being supposedly violent to him in the past on his Saints site.

I do question the judgement of an claimed ex military guy who would send his wife and IIRC, a handicapped friend to a place he says was both terrible and dangerous when he was there before.

That's it. I am going back over to the Saints board to apologize on behalf of Lymon yet again.

Word.

I must say that this situation requires monitoring very closely.

OK, and now I really know you are lying.

My season tickets are in the 200 Club Level. The bathrooms are right behind the food vendors, in a hallway next to the windows. There are multiple police officers, alcohol enforcement and security guards posted in these hallways. It is very tight, crowded, and there is absolutely ZERO chance your wife would have been punched with nobody noticing.

Further, the hallways are very narrow, and the bathroom lines run parallel to the windows with a walkway between the people standing in line and the windows themselves. If anyone ran into your wife, it would have been as they were leaving the bathrooms. It's possible someone bumped into her on their way back to their seat. That's why you stand your drunk ass close to the inside wall and let people walk by. That is the polite thing to do in the 200 club level bathroom line.

But really, none of that matters.

I know you're lying because you claim to have spoken to stadium security and they have told you to wait 72 hours for a "report". That's not how stadium security works at the Clink. They refer all security issues involving reports to the Seattle Police Department.

I believe your wife or you went to the game. I do not believe your story. I think you're just a poor-sport bad loser who wants to start some crap with Seahawk fans because you hate our city.

So here's a suggestion - stay out of Seattle and stay away from Seahawk games. We don't need or want you at the stadium. We are more than happy to see your seats used by actual Seahawk fans who contribute to our record-breaking noise.

This is correct. I have club seats also and it's the sanest place - no line for bathrooms and certainly no shenanigans. I love the ups/downs/ins/outs of this story. We need everyone involved to submit to a polygraph! Maybe Montel Williams or Maury Povich?

I thought your wife got the assailants' names.

Why wouldn't SPD interview her and get down her info and the couple's info?

Why do you keep insisting on following up with security?

Why would they spend close to $1000 to assault your unsuspecting wife and then just mosey on back to their seats?

Seems like since you say they were seated near each other your wife and the assailants had some type of heated exchange before this incident if they followed her to the bathroom.

If there was an exchange at the seats, where was her "Fed" friend?

Why would she go to the bathroom alone if she had some type of exchange with this couple, especially after I'm sure you warned her of the "dangers" of the Clink.

Why wouldn't her "Fed" friend follow the couple if she saw them get up to follow your wife?

Why would the line be that long in the club section?

Why didn't anybody else in the line say or do anything?

What is it about you and your wife that every single time you go to the Clink you get into some type of altercation?

I've been to about 15 games the past 3 years and all but 2 times in the preseason I've sat in the cheap seats and have never witnessed an assault. The closest I've seen was with this Niner's couple behind me. We were yapping back n forth talking football smack but towards the end of the game he said to my friend and I "I thought we were gonna have to fight earlier but you guys are awesome passionate fans". The 42-13 ass-whooping could've contributed to that though.

But an unprovoked assault in the way you are saying this happened to your wife. I don't believe it. And if it did, I don't believe for one second, nobody did or said a thing.

Absurd.

This guy is trolling and anyone who has ever had season tickets or been to a few games at the Clink can see right through it.

As I've stated - stadium security would never tell someone they have to wait for some report. They also would NEVER approach someone who has been reported for assault, as this troll claims - those incidents are immediately turned over to the Seattle Police officers on-site, who handle everything. Have you ever seen a fight at the stadium, or seen security respond to a fight? You'll notice it's always the cops who walk up and grab the perps. Stadium security does not handle anything to do with criminal activity, as that falls under SPD jurisdiction. Stadium security also is trained not to interfere with violence - that is for the cops to handle. If you don't believe me, call the stadium or the Seattle Police Dept and ask them.

Further, the Seattle Police offered to help this troll, and he ignored them. Then, after he ignored them, they stated that no assaults were reported that matched that description, but they could help him with any reports he needed. Of course, he ignored them because he is lying (or to be kind, exaggerating/trolling).

It's absurd that you would even expect us all to be friendly and nice to these trolls who are here merely to start crap with us, waste our time, and be jerks. This guy has a serious problem with Seattle and talks like a bigoted idiot - go read his posts. It's obvious he just wants an excuse to hate Seattle and the Seahawks, and this nonsense is a product of that.

I'm here to contribute, as a lifelong Seahawks fan and a Seattle resident. This guy is here to start crap with Seahawk fans and manufacture drama. And you're taking his side? Lame.

why would you send your wife and her friend to a game alone in a stadium where you've had such terrible experiences, every time you go there witnessing some random assault? Sounds like sending your children to be babysat in thunderdome under the adult supervision of MasterBlaster.

Yeah, it became obvious to me that he is a pathological liar and a troll when he started talking about some federal FBI agent buddy going to the game and kicking ass with him.

Pure BS.

Also, his claims about his interactions with Stadium security also proved he is lying. Anyone who has ever dealt with Stadium Security at the Clink knows that for any criminal complaint, they refer you to the SPD immediately. Security at the Clink does not handle any criminal complaint, that is SPD jurisdiction.

Also, Stadium security does not directly respond to assault complaints. They send the cops to do it. And the cops are EVERYWHERE at the Clink, just waiting for that sort of trouble. There would have been 10 cops talking to the guy who supposedly punched his wife. If she had a black eye, the dude would have been arrested and banned for life from the Clink, and the SPD would have an assault report.

TROLL ALERT

Yeeeeeah........ I was keeping an open mind until he started in with the I'm a Marine and my wife was there with my buddy the Fed. Just sounds too sensational. I'm waiting for a ninja and a kung-fu midget to find their way into the story.

Alaska guy, sorry for your troubles if this turns out to actually be true, but if it IS true, why is convincing a bunch of bored middle aged guys on an Internet forum such a high priority for you right now..?

Hans..... wow. you're a BEAST! ;)
