Just last week, Clark said that Russ has been carrying the team since the LOB. They just played it on 710.
Hilarious. Make up your mind, son.

Carrying the team to early playoff exits does not equate to being in the conversation with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Elway, and Montana tho.
This is where I'm at..I gotta add the Iron man on that list ..Favre

Depends what you consider an all time great.

Russ is certainly a HOF player, but in there could certainly be a debate if he’s top 5 all time.

^^
Absolutely , he's top 10 at least , but top 5...not so sure .

I'm guessing that Wilson grades the best QB's by Playoff wins and SB rings , but the Rings are at the forefront in Wilson's mind . imo

And you forgot the part where he says he needs to be better.

I mean wow no QB has ever said they need something right? No player has ever said it. right? Seems to me the only problem you have is its Wilson saying it.

A lot of people will point at RW's main accomplishment as a SB win and 2 NFCCG appearances, because lets face it outside of completion percentage his passing stats don't exactly rival other "All-time great QB"s.

The issue is you have people like Joe Flacco who have been to 3 conference championships and also won a superbowl.

RW unlike Flacco had the LOB which is slowly over time being considered one of the top 3 defenses of all time in the NFL. Top 2 even, maybe even the best. RW also had Marshawn Lynch who if not running during the same time as Adrian Peterson would have been considered the best in the NFL at that time.

Since Marshawn and the LOB have left the Seahawks, RW has accomplished no MVPs (he'll find himself in the conversation and then completely destroy himself from any conversation within 2 games towards the end of the season). And we all have seen how the Seahawks have fared in the playoffs since.

Yes, the NFL is the ultimate team game, but given what RW had on his team during his biggest accomplishments and given his lack of "All-Time Great QB" success since the LOB and Beast Mode were no longer on the team. Yeah RW is perhaps just a GOOD QB with perhaps the most dangerous long ball in football, but does not have enough all around QB prowess to be considered an "all-time great".

If RW can get an MVP and/or win another SB or even just get to an NFCCG but completely on RW's Arm/legs not requiring some top 3 defense and RB....before his career ends, he can prove otherwise, but if his careers ends with more of the same. Ryan Clark is right.
Agree 100%

Elway made the playoffs 10 times in his 16 year career. Out of the 10 times she failed to get beyond the 1st round 4 times, 2 adn done 3 times. HIs only 2 Sb wins came with a top 5 run game and top 5 defense. His first round and out % was 40%, his playloff making % was 62%

Joe Montana in his 14 year career made the playoffs 11 times and was 1 and done 4 times including 3 years in a row. His first round and out % 37% his making the playoff % 78%

Peyton Manning played 17 years made the playoffs 14 times and was 1 and done 9 times. HIs 1 and done % 64% his making the playoffs was 78%

Brett Fare played 20 years and made the playoffs 12 times and was 1 and done 3 times and 2 and done 6 times. HIs 1 and done was 25%, making playoffs 60%

Wilson had been in the League 10 years and has made the playoffs 8 times and was 1 and done 2 times and 2 and done 4 times. HIs 1 and done is 25% and his making playoffs is 80%

Brady had been in the league for 22 years and made the playoffs 19 times and was1 and done 3 times and 2 and done 4 times. His one and done was 16% his making playoffs was 86%

Seems to me he is right up there with them all.

Now post LOB so 2015-current, 7 years, made playoffs 5 of the 7 and 1 and done 2. 1 and done % 40% and making playoffs 71%

Hmm still right up ther ewith them

So let's summarize with only post LOB for Wilson
1ad=1 and done, MP%=making the playoffs %

Elway
MP% 62%
1ad 40%

Montana
MP5 78%
1ad 37%

Manning
MP% 78%
1ad 64%

Favre
MP% 60%
1ad 25%

Brady
MP% 86%
1ad 16%

Wilson post LOB
MP% 71%
1ad 40%

Hmm seems he is right in there isn't he

Okay so let's say he doe sit with a top 10 run game and or defense would that make it for you? Top 15 top 20 what is the point?

Liking tweets saying get him a better oline - last week
All that chatter can't be helpful in free agency either. Who wants to sign with a team who's QB is constantly talking about exploring his options and having his agent leak teams he'd waive his NTC for?

Well since he said if the team wants to trade him he wants o check out his options the bigger question is who wants to play for a team that might trade their franchise QB Lets remember the rumbling of trading him started before his rumbling

No chance he's top 10 all time right now. He's not top 10 in any category that matters when evaluating legacy is he?

The only rumbling has been from Mr. Unlimited. He started the talk and continues to perpetuate it.

It's not how you start it's how you finish, history will look back and say carried by LOB and Lynch if he doesn't get back to high end of the playoff race, especially since they added teams.

He may get in but more like a Stabler then a Manning type vote.

There is a reason he has received a total of ZERO MVP votes in his whole career. We can blame coaching or oline etc but RW has RW to blame more than anything. Add in three total playoff wins since the lost Super Bowl and he is optimistically a top 12 QB in the NFL. And he is unable or unwilling to use his legs anymore except in the rarest of circumstances and refusing to throw to half the field. A good QB. Hardly HoF worthy.

He carried an aging and progressively less effective Pete Carroll for half a decade.

He demonstrated uncanny accuracy, maybe all time, on the long ball.

He put up pro bowl numbers while playing for several years with a freaking coach that didn't bother to even try scoring a TD in the 1st half.

Of course he is an all-time great. The only reason Pete wasn't fired long ago is because of Wilson.
