Now these videos are on youtube, easily accessible, so why are people still pushing a false narrative?

(the goal post is about to be moved right about now.)

Nice, add that to the pass charts that have been posted and it is obvious hr can and does. However that will not change their narrative. They don't care about the truth.

2015 to 2017 Highlights are not representative of his play, they are HIGHLIGHTS !!!!!

Jesus you can find a few Highlights of Spergon Wynn and or Kelly Stouffer also.

Well when the narrative is he never does or can't its irrelevant when and were the vidoe proof comes from. Then again in another thread there was a passing chart from this year showing all his passes Including a lot of short passes.

A false argument response and not even a good one. You sound like a politician.

Let’s see some numbers or charts from this year instead of 5 year old highlights. Analytics. Advanced stats. Or just admit it is your opinion based on your memory.

Yea, what a joke! I don't necessarily agree or disagree with "the narrative", but can't we get a little more timely evidence if we are to have a discussion about it? If the OP's argument is that strong, then he shouldn't have to reach back that far to find something to support his claim.

I know he is getting up there in age, but when he was at his best, the read option helped him a lot. I know he wants to be a passing QB, but why not add back some of that threat of him keeping the ball taking off?

as I said stats and passing charts have been posted in threads for this year they show he is throwing short so they are there. That said the narrative is he cant does not matter what year if it shows he can then the narrative the cant is wrong.

So this was game 1 and I see 14 attempts that were short.

Really. Short and outside isn't a problem doesn't QB. Why do people think most play callers for Rookie and younger QB call a lot of pass plays outside the numbers? It's an easier read and safer. Throwing the outside at or near the LOS i isn't part of the discussion

Okay so he did not throw to that specific area of the middle so what. What do you notice literally right on the light champ?

I mean are we going to be that pathetic that we are going to say yeah he through short and long of over the but this one patch of 5-10 yards he did not so he cant. Also, that is only 1 game. DO you even know if any routes were run in that area? were they open? pathetic. Also FYI did you notice the blue TD one that is right in the box you are talking about. champ

"keep in mind that the Seahawks are a red line team." as was brought to my attention by another poster and PC wrote a book where he make sit clear why we like to pass to the sidelines.

Your choosing to be obtuse, showing the red box is a lack of using like 65 percent of the field, from sideline to sideline and within 40 yards of the line of scrimmage, he doesn't throw over the middle in the intermediate game.

That has been the argument, that has been his fault and still is whether he can or not doesn't matter, what matters is he doesn't do it.

So you can stack the box, play inside out and under over coverage of your receivers and just about ignore decoy routes in the middle.

The offense was designed to use all levels and routes, Wilson chooses to use a handful.

What a easy guy to defend.

This is a garbage thread with a 5-6 year old highlight reel submitted as proof against THREE separate areas that Russ has been criticized over - looking off short passes, looking off intermediate passes, and above all, looking off passes over the middle of the field.

If one is going to post supporting charts, they probably shouldn't show a MASSIVE CHASM in the intermediate middle of the field.

Now, redirecting to short passes: There are multiple issues that Russ has traditionally had when passing short, his placement and accuracy being one of them. He's throwing them at a higher frequency with Waldron really focusing heavily on short and screen passes.

This does nothing to argue against the well-observed notion that Russell is a relatively weak passer in the short game and has traditionally had a blind spot over the intermediate middle of the field.

well, first the chart shows he has used those areas although in that game, not a lot. and the link shows why and it is a PC thing. 2nd if he is so easy to defend then how come he is always in the tops in most passing categories year after year? The answer is he is far from easy to defend. Also, links have been shown showing even in years past he has used short and intermediate and loves the middle. So it seems to me you guys keep moving the goal post and hoping eventually you will be right. Let me help you he does not use the 1 centimeter right in front of the center to pass to. Does that help? because the reality is the narrative has been proven wrong.

Did you read the post? of course not. It is also in PCs book and so what if it was x years ago nothing has changed that is what PC wants.

Some of you have complained about this so-called not throwing over the middle for ways so now you know why they don't do it much.

Now you can handle the truth that is your problem. BUt the facts clearly show he has thrown over middle both short and intermediate, and while he does not do it a lot the facts also who that is a PC thing.

Also, try reading the post if you can.
