But john63 was actually so popular here that many followed his deandc account at the Broncos forum just for the entertainment value.

I gotta admit, he did provide plenty of entertainment on both boards.

One Of A Kind.

I always wondered if he was well paid by Team3, or if he was just a delusional stalker fanboi.
Unpaid intern, he would have been paid if he were younger. Sadly, team3 saw his age as limiting factor, ya know lack of upside? So unfair.

I just read somewhere the Stealer's might be a good fit for Russ.
Maybe he could cause some heartbreak & devastation there too.

Me 3 sucks in cold weather. In his last several seasons here he started the season out hot then as the weather turned wet and cold his play definitely declined.Thats why when he bolted to Denver I shook my head.High Altitude and cold I had a feeling that it wasn't going to turn out well.

Now we have to track Russ' next team, see if john63 follows along, or if he's been beaten down enough.
Oh he’s going to ride that D…that Dangerwich, to the grave.

Y’all dirty 🫣

RW drove me nuts with his antics, scrambling then thrilled when he connected. I made a game out of how often I would say THROW IT AWAY, or WT...OMG...without saying the F word. What kind of heartbreak & devastation could he possibly have given to a Hawk fan? I loved Hasselbeck, Mudbone, and Zorn, but RW was our best ever. He was better than our homegrown Husky, who came back after the Oilers. He GAVE US HIS ALL.

You know this is scary but that is a distinct possibility that he could come back to the Hawks. It is hard to grasp this reality. While Russ was not perfect, he pretty much screwed himself with this move. Now he will be luck to be a back up QB for the rest of his career. In one moment we heard talk of a future HOFer if he stayed on course. Now, that will never happen as he descends into the abyss of also rans.

One city got a adios tweet. The other, got a goodbye love letter. Spoiler. It wasn't the team he won a Super Bowl with that got the letter.

It was on Google - The Steelers are not interested in RW or anyone else.
They like the 2 QBs they have.
So one less team for the Me3.

I blame Ciara. The minute she stepped on the scene it was all downhill for Dangerwich. She's like a walking parody of a pop star.

This is what happens to teams that sign ridiculous contracts. Once a player has played the 1st 2 years of a 2nd or later NFL contract he shouldn't at any point have more than 1 year remaining that is fully guaranteed. 1 year is the maximum and ideally it should be less. I don't feel sorry for the Broncos, (or the Cardinals who are in a similar situation with Murray).

That cap hit btw - By waiting till the 13th it's the start of the NFL
2024 season.. They can split the hit over 2 seasons instead of one.

Trade Geno for a 4th.
Sign RW3 for league minimum.
Draft Penix.
Sign upside UDFA QB to practice squad.
Get one-third season improved play from Russ.
Trade RW for 5th rounder, mid season.
Re-sign Lock off his couch cheap to finish season.
Penix in 2025.
LOL
