And the Hawks BARELY beat the Bengals and Rams at home.

Gotta also roll Russ out of the pocket often to buy time. Cannot “try to establish the run” for 3 quarters if it’s not working either.

If we can keep their defense on their heals, make them respect the play action pass, and give Lockett and Metcalf time to get out on their routes, I think we'll be fine offensively so long as we don't turn the ball over or start committing penalties that force us to play from behind the sticks.
I'm a lot more worried about our defense than I am Russell and our offense. Our Achilles heal is our defense. We've faced some very pedestrian quarterbacks that have trashed us. If we can't get this D figured out, we aren't going anywhere.

I need to dig up the win percentage of teams SF has faced.
Edit: Found it: .340 So not a big difference. But it will be interesting to see how SF fares against Baltimore and New Orleans.
We need to nullify their pass rush put on by all those high 1st round DL they've picked and traded for. Man they are rich in that department!
Like others have said, quick passes and run the ball. Chris Carson be smashing fools like rotten pumpkins!
