Russ fans ???

I think Russ playing for teams I've disliked and the narrative of him turning on the Hawks contributed to the ease of me turning on him.

This is where I stand, though being only a casual fan until 2003/2004, I never developed a big hate for the Broncos (them sucking at the time helped us in the draft standings though, so I really did want them to lose for that reason).

Pittsburgh, on the other hand... I don't hate them like I used to, sure. Now that Cowher and Roethlisberger are gone, it's not the same. But I still can't wish them success and therefore can't wish Russ success until he leaves that team or the cosmic scales of justice are put right. (Like if we both make the Super Bowl this year, and the refs completely hose the Steelers all game long and we come away with the championship. Then I'll be at peace with it.)

I realized something last week. Whenever I watched Russ with the Hawks and he got hurried or started scrambling around, I always had a confident feeling a big play was unfolding. Sometimes it didn't pan out but a lot of times it did and it was electric. Now while watching Geno if he gets hurried or starts to scramble I am confident of nothing good. Sometimes (last week) it pans out, but a lot of times - Sack, INT, Fumble, Pass for a loss.

I will say the same thing I have said since day one. I am a Seawhsk fan first. I will remain a Seaahwask fan first. I will root for Wilson in every game except when he plays us.

Oohhh...this didn't age well...i do wish he'd come back though.

I've seen Me3 with Seattle have many 3 n outs and plenty of dumb TOs
after he decided he wasn't a game manager..
With Pissburg he decides to do what he always should have been doing
for the most part.
I'm really on the fence that he doesn't implode again later this season
or after.. It's that ego and Jake Heeps that will creep in and Denver 3 pops up.

Personally I wish Russ no ill but I do feel like I’ve had a girlfriend cheat on me.

It’s possible that this is a knee jerk reaction for me and I’ll mellow out with time. For now, I’m jilted.
