Why do I have a sneaking suspicion that this game is going to result in the reverse of 2010. If you remember we went to New Orleans that year and got our butts kicked and then we played them a second time and won. This year we beat the Saints pretty well the first go around and now they play us again. I just have that weird feeling inside of me.

I pity your repetitive sentiment, good lord, if this team somehow hasn't pulled you away from the precipice, then jump already!

Christ almighty dude, is there not a hint of optimism contained anywhere within you?

Wouldn't the reverse consist of The Hawks being on the road this week? Kind of a notable omission if u ask me.

Let me set your mind at ease, in 2010, as in 2014, we have home field for the second game.

Are you this negative in all phases of your life, or just football? Posting negative thoughts in a Seahawk blog is not going to be well received. Attempt to keep them out of your mind, or if that isn't possible, keep them to yourself.
I don't believe in being overconfident, but I darn sure don't care to hear negativity expressed..

I'm not nervous at all. You could have not have asked for a more favorable opponent and situation that what Seattle has in this first game. Maybe the Saints win. I'd give them maybe a 10% chance. If so, it just means the Saints were very lucky, or Seattle really unlucky. But the odds favor us so much that it feels like Seattle is starting the game with a 17-0 lead.

This is how I've felt all week. We COULD lose, but any game is like that. This matchup is the best for us of the teams left. I want to see those nightmare inducing dances by Bennett and Mebane all game long!

If you really look at it, you'll see that in 2010, the Seahawks moved the ball very well and just settled for field goals. That day, the Seahawks had 5 scoring drives. This year, the Saints did absolutely nothing in the first go round and looked bad doing that. The Saints were beaten in EVERY phase of the game this year. There is no comparison to 2010 and this year except that the Seahawks and the Saints play each other twice.
