Yuck..............none of those seem like better options then Michael. Kinda wish we had kept him around at this point and time.

We had Procise and Rawls got healthy with Collins lil ass in the wings.
Nobody expected the Procise injury and a banged up Rawls. :?

Don't forget Pope! A lot of people here thought he was the reason Michael was released.....stupidity at it's finest if it's true.

1) They should have by using the past as an indicator for the future

2) Forsett was available when those two got injured........

3) Tires needs to be kicked so I am all for bringing in these guys. It is annoying watching Turbin, Michael and Ware score TDs on Sundays though..........

Kasen Williams is built pretty physical, does he have any experience running the ball?

Meh, don't say no one. I expexted it and posted as such. Not that I like that fact, mind you. Sometimes it's better to be wrong.

I really don't see the point in harping on the Michael thing though. It has no bearing on the now other than shoulda coulda.

Releasing Jahri Evans......

This move still baffles me, granted he didn't look great, but would have provided a much needed veteran voice and presence.

Yuck.

Scrambling right before the playoffs to fill a position that has been deficient all season.

Crap.

Bet Franco Harris and Jim Brown still say they can play, remembering way back when.

Cable would've felt threatened as Evans would have proved to be a better leader/teacher than him.

If Rawls is not going on IR, there's no reason to evaluate RBs at this point. They have Reece, McKissic, and Collins. Roll with them. Rest Rawls if need be and ensure he's ready to go for first playoff game. WTS, I can see LaMichael James being added as he can provide kickoff/punt return value.

I know this is a RB thread but OL goes hand in hand. You see the roster churn on the skills positions - TE, WR, RB but nothing on the OL spots. I wonder why they are not doing this? It would be logical to look at OL guys each week to see if one could actually block and be an upgrade...at least provide depth or competition, if nothing else. Maybe that will get the guys you have to play better and focus on improvement.

What baffles me was making him a backup LG when he was a very good RG and Ifedi could slide into RT. Instead they put more faith into crap like Webb and Sowell and Gilliam. Cable gets away with a lot.
