I still think Patton is going to have a great future in the NFL based on his college games and he was really good in the Senior Bowl. I have to wonder though if he can stand up physically, a broken hand and foot in limited reps? Bad news.

Yes his 3 receptions on the YEAR will strike fear into opposing defenses to be sure.

I watched 2 of those catches. And the ones I saw were both huge, game-changing catches at critical times...when the defense didn't pay much attention to him. Probably because they were thinking like you.

Everytime I want to dismiss some Niners receiver for his number of catches, I remember that between Roman's sacrificial lamb passing game where 2 receivers usually are intended to create space for the third, and CK's tendency to throw to 3 guys only, other receivers don't get many chances.
