Kaep is overrated. By everyone, everywhere. His frame is brittle, and defenses are going to have him well covered this year.

I say he suffers one of the most notable sophomore slumps seen in recent years.

There, I said it.

I agree with this. Kaep will be hurt by game five probably due to his running tendencies.

He's gonna be brittle when Kam smashes his big ass nose into the ground, and I'll cheer!

I don't worry much about rankings anymore because, like many things in life, they are subjective.

I get why people are in love with Kaepernick. He has great straight-line speed and is huge along with having a strong arm. It's like putting nanotech into prime Terry Bradshaw that makes him twice the athlete.

Not sure how a 6'5" 240lb frame is brittle, unless he snaps one of his toothpick legs

Overrated, have to disagree with you there as well. Yes he had a strong supporting cast, and had some decision issues as far as reads, but those things come with time and experience.. I see no significant sophomore slump for him, quite the opposite actually.. A full offseason/TC with the ones will benefit him dramatically.. If the niners slump this year, i doubt it will be because of Kap, more so his supporting cast in questionable areas, rookie safety, questionable defensive backfield, WR's etc...

from what i have read in multiple articles, they mention kaepernick and wilson as 2 qb's that look to throw 1st and then run. And that they both run out of bounds/slide to avoid the big hit. If we are going to trash a guy, lets just be honest and find real flaws, not perceived ones.

Honestly I could care less where RW is placed on the list after last years performance. To me RW is better then Luck and RGIII and definitely better then Keaperdink although all three are very good. RW is special, work ethic, leadership ability, command of the huddle, communication ability, I haven't yet mentioned football skills. I think this year, Wilson will prove he can be and is, the most proficient QB in football.

Kaep shouldn't be higher than him. Luck, I can deal with.
That is the only thing that bothers me. Keap being rated higher. I was surprised he was rated over RG3 and well if Schaub is rated above him that should tell you all about the validity of this list.

When you have no running game, QB efficiency drops. If Andrew Luck had to throw less than every other team in the NFL as Wilson did this year, no doubt he would have a higher completion percentage and less interceptions.

C'mon guys, this is football basics. I know it's exciting to have a good QB, but you can't be so blind to the fact that Lynch makes a HUGE difference in the passing game.

That sounds fair until you look at games like Miami and Atlanta where the defense shut the running game down, we abandoned it and Wilson looked even better

I'll give you Peyton, but i'm not giving you Eli... Why because he won a SB? so did Trent Dilfer...

Fair enough, but is this list based on a QB's accomplishments, or their level of play now? if we're talking accomplishments, how can any of the rookies be on top of the list period?

I didn't say RW was better than Rogers, Brady, both Mannings, or Brees. RW's spot on the list after a great rookie performance is pretty respectable. The question is if RW is better then the likes of RGIII, Luck, and Keapernick. I believe he is, but arguments can be made. I believe RW will put that question to rest in his performance moving forward. Perhaps next year statistically speaking we will be able to mention Wilson's performance for the year in the top 5.

my initial reply with my list was to the comment about Wilson going to be the most proficient Qb in the football next season.
not so much about jaworski's list.
