Ford plays a hella Defensive Tackle but did NOT get any snaps at Running Back last night.
Pete did not mention anything about Poona playing at RB in his post-game presser so he is obviously hiding a secret plan. I'm with you, they will cut the FB position guys and go with DT guys when a FB is needed.

I do not have a scouting report on Poona's hands, so no idea if they will use Poona out of the backfield when Pete finally unveils this personnel grouping.

Actually there was a scouting report on Poona's hands, that he has very strong hands. So, there you have it, coming out of the backfield, Poona has great hands. Er, I mean, going into the backfield and ripping down ballcarriers. Scouts said he had great hands fr ripping and grabbing offensive linemen and throwing them aside and then using his hands to rip down ballcarriers.

It was a couple of press conferences back they were joking about it...But I was thinking to myself that it's not a bad idea they said he played in the back field in HS and he was good... I think the guy would be a road grader at FB... I wanna see it! Heck if they can put Fant at TE why not put Poona at FB makes since to me...

I love it. It builds depth if all your guys can play multiple positions. And it seems like Pete is smartly, finally going that way this year. Don't forget, DK has been getting DE snaps this year too.

all joking aside i wouldn't mind seeing Poona as a fullback in short yardage. I would feel bad for that LB.

With Reed being gone for the first six games we are VERY lucky to have him.

Feature this: Poona played RB in HS.

I should clarify: Pete mentioned this in one of his press conferences, mentioning that he was not a "scat back".
I doubt he was the designated RB but was used on occasion.
