I'm saying A. I'll say this draft could have gone off the rails. The blue chip players went in order, and where gone by our pick. They made the best of what was left and picked Zabel. He was imo the best inside oline man of the draft for how we play.
This really was a smart pick. Not a reach, but an exceptionally gifted athlete that helps unlock the run and pass game.
We just seemed to be lined up incorrectly for the whole draft though. We kept seemingly coming up just after a Drop-off in talent. We traded up to grab Emmanwori and flipped the script. I this LV would have gotten him. They executed the draft perfectly especially given less than ideal circumstances.

Well said, totally agree. Add to it that Mike was a first time head coach last year so he was still getting his legs under him. Not now, he's up and cruising and getting his team dialed.

I highly doubt MM selected Grubb….he likely gave it the ok but, he had little time or choice.

I give it a B-. Excellent Day 1, spectacularly botched Day 2, and a very good Day 3.

Zabel was an auspicious occurrence of talent and need coming together. Obviously a risk taking a small-school guy that early, but there's little reason to not be confident that he can make the jump as well as anyone else.

Emmanwori I would have been lukewarm on getting with our original second rounder, which is about where I thought he should have gone (4th round player with a 1st round skillset). Giving away one of our third rounders to move up for him was a poor decision. This has serious boom or bust potential, with the latter more likely than the former. Those who think he's Kyle Hamilton or Kam Chancellor are going to be disappointed.

Arroyo I like a lot. It was great to see us get in on what I think could be an all-time TE class. I wouldn't fault those who would have preferred Fannin, but I think this could finally be the high-end receiving threat at TE we've never really had, barring injury.

Taking Milroe in third round was one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever seen this franchise do in my entire life. At no point in his overhyped, underwhelming collegiate career was Milroe even close to anything as a passer that would make this a rational pick. Everyone here is now dumber for having heard Schneider's delusional justifications for it. For his selection of Milroe, I award Schneider a big, fat F, and may God have mercy on his soul.

I have no complaints about the Day 3 haul. It appears they did well getting talented players who fell through the cracks for whatever reason. I think Cabeldue is better than any of the three offensive linemen we drafted last year and I like getting a special teams demon with our last pick in the seventh. That's exactly what those picks should be used for.

It's amazing how much Mike transformed this team with JUST the top two picks. Injuries have forced us to defer a lot of judgment until next year (and there's a LOOOOT to be excited about there), but just Zabel and Emmanwori make this draft worth singing about.

And yes, I whiffed hard on Emmanwori LOL. Bit way too hard on some character concerns. I should have given Mike more credit on his ability to wrangle guys and scheme them right. He's got his own Kyle Hamilton to play with now and the future is bright.

I agree whole heartedly. Both of those top two picks fit this team like a glove. Not so sure this team is where they are at without them.

I’m way too lazy to list each pick but, I believe we have at least two Day 1 starters in this group.

I also believe that there are current Seahawks that should be afraid…or perhaps it’s driving them to train harder…because I see each and every one of these kids making the roster.

Going out on a limb here but, if he can get a year or two of experience and steady work with his position coaches, Milroe has the potential to take over as the true ‘QBotF’ (yea, I said the term…). I think this kid is going to be a star.

Love the Miami acquisitions. Arroyo may be listed at TE but, he looks like a damn receiver on his routes.

We’re going to compete…for years to come. Playoffs this year - book it..

Absolutely stoked….Ive never been this giddy after a draft…after 40’ish years of fandom.

JS and MM absolutely killed it.

While I mostly agree with your opinions regarding Milroe, the fact that Sanders made the Pro Bowl is a testament to how incredibly low the standards are for being a Pro Bowl QB these days.

Sanders played in 8 games. He averaged 175 yards per game. He threw for 7 TD's and 10 INT's. He had a 56% completion percentage. He had a passer rating of 68 and a QBR of 18.9. Those are Pro Bowl QB caliber numbers? Lol, that's absurd. Yes, he was rookie on a bad team, but those are not good numbers and pretty damn far from being Pro Bowl worthy.

That could be, but the difference is that Russ was legitimately one of the best, most dangerous dual threat QB's in the league his first 10 years. Sanders was named to the Pro Bowl for no other reason than they ran out of QB's that were actually willing to show up to the Pro Bowl games.
