There will be no late-game heroics by either team.

Because the Hawks will make sure this game is over by the start of the 4th quarter.

BOOM!

(will it happen that way? I don't know but I am trying to will it into existence)
I'll will it with you

For those of you who remember 2013, how does your confidence level compare to that year?

I don't think I felt comfortable until Harvin's kick return after half-time.
If our offense was more consistent I would, maybe, feel MORE confident. Our opponents this weak are on life support… let’s hope we dominate and move on to enjoy watching the other game… I firmly believe whomever wins the NFC will win the Superbowl. I think that’s down to 2 and a 1/2 teams. Whiners are banged up… I think the lambs and our beloved are too much for the bears. However, LA looks a little off after we kicked their balls in with the comeback. Chicago could be coming our way next weekend. Take care of business first. I don’t think MM will allow looking too far ahead.

Hate to say it quite this way, but the former Bully still talks the talk even with a broken arm and busted teeth, he comes back at you, no mercy knock the rest of his teeth out, break a leg two, blacken both eyes while your at it, no dancing tonight.

Admirable he didn't give in, but if he still has the fight you have to take it away.

Im at the point where we need to curb stomp the 9ers. They are super thin, and in some positions, they are trying out the Fed Ex guy. We should win by 10+. The last time I was this confident was the morning of our SB with Denver. I had a premonition that we would stomp. I have it again.

If Kubiak doesn't get cute and we:
1) pass to set up the run
2) run effectively on short yardage
and
3) lock CMC's ass down

In the bag.

The 49ers are definitely the NFC team I'm least worried about, but they made the playoffs. And their most critical defensive injuries are things they dealt with the whole year.

I already see the Hawks in the NFC Championship game. Will be wild if the Hawks have to go through the 9ers AND Rams to get to the SB. What a year for the division.

Going to go out on a limb and say the Bears beat the Rams.

I was one of the few in here that made preseason predictions of 13-4, 14-3.
I believe we will overpower this depleted 49er team and that no one in the AFC can hang with us in a Santa Clara SB. Basically we are a home-win against the Rams in the NFC championship game away from winning our 2nd Super Bowl.
If the Bears somehow win a bad weather game that path only gets easier.

I do not think this team will look past anyone or get overconfident with MM at the helm. I think these guys are a unit who love football and have an ultimate goal and are going to ball out, savoring every down the rest of the way.
