Is it weird that I have a relatively high level of confidence and that's what worries me?

These teams playing football against each other points to a Seahawks win. I think all that writing is already on the wall. However, being a Seahawks fan for any length of time impresses upon a person that when you're most invested, that's when it can hurt the most. In reference to my Seahawks fandom: confidence breeds anxiety.

It's fine.

Remember that so long as the players themselves aren't overconfident, then they should take care of business and we get the desired result we are hoping for.

It's okay to be overconfident as fans because it has zero effect both positive or negative on the field of play.

I hate to say it, but I sure hope the Seahawks defense doesn’t get cute and fall for these same thoughts. 49ers will be looking to moves the chains, they still have a solid offense. Obviously, I want Seattle to win. Throat punch them all game long.

I am confident Mike will have the entire team ready. I know Kubiak has interviewed but he is gonna call a heck of a game. Go Hawks and as fans we are ready and there too. This will be watching 49ers back to back for me, one in Santa Clara and one this Saturday.

It's the playoffs, I don't care WHO they're playing. I will always be nervous. That's part of the fun of sports.

This. Don't leave any room for late game heroics for the niners, late game blown coverages or worst the refs.

I don't want to see Sam put in a position where he can potentially make a mistake. I'm sorry--and this will seem like a knock on Sam, but he just is what he is. Better to just keep him out of those situations entirely.

I don't want to see Sam put in a position where he can potentially make a mistake. I'm sorry--and this will seem like a knock on Sam, but he just is what he is. Better to just keep him out of those situations entirely.

I want to see them come out guns-a-blazin - some early quick scores and THEN turtle up and ground the pound. The 9ers have no pass rush, so it's not like we can't be aggressive early.

If it's a one score type game in the 4th due to turtling all game, that leaves the door open for late game heroics, late game blown coverages or worst the refs.

I understand what you are saying Soul, but I don't want this team to be in that situation--and unfortunately, I can see that coming from a mile away. The game being closer than we think it should be, leaving the door wide open for the niners to pull some late game TD out of their ass and us Seahawks fans hoping and praying we pull it out in the end only to crash and burn. Then we'll have to hear it non-stop from the media........UGH!!!

JUST STAY OUT OF THOSE SITUATIONS--BLOW THESE MFers out!!
