My guess is Jones doesn't play vs the Hawks. I see the likelihood leaning toward him aggravating his leg fracture this week and sitting the remainder of the season. They don't have Richardson, so we may very well see another 3rd string (never heard of) qb vs the Colts. Either way, Jones is injured, they're not strong at the moment, so I'm not worried about the Colts. Seahawks are winning out.

Stars are aligning for us to potentially be 11-3 going into The Showdown on Thursday night that will determine whether :

1.) We have a shot at winning the Division (and potentially, the NFC)

and

2.) Darnold finally plays well and beats the Rams (which would bode well both for his psyche and for the upcoming playoffs)

Not only do you assume a loss by Seattle (I agree)

But you assume Rams wins out (I disagree)

I think we lose to colts, win the rest

Rams lose to Lions win the rest
"I think we lose to colts, win the rest

Rams lose to Lions win the rest"

Impossible for both those to happen.

When it comes to seedings and potential matchups, I will quote DLaw...

'I don't care. They line up, they get 'f'd up'

In that bracket, I would almost rather be 5 and host the Bucs while the other 4 teams clobber each other and then just march through whoever is left standing on our way to the owl.

I have a sneaky feeling that in 4 weeks the 9ers and the Pack will be the teams favored besides us. What Shanahan has done with that SF team this year is remarkable and I am sure they feel as though they are playing with house money. I think they beat the Rams in their upcoming game and could beat them again if they see them in the tournament.
If we are 5 and the Bucs are 4, then that game is going to be in Tampa. If you want a home game, then you must win your division

Point 2 would be incredible

I want it to come true and happen so badly, man.

As someone who followed this ginger for a long-time throughout his QB Journey with all the mockery by the sh*tty media and Trolls (Fans) basically telling him to give up and leave the NFL, it would be so cathartic to see him break through. 🙏

I don't think it matters with this team
It really doesn't.

In fact, if it's a rematch with the Bucs, I like our chances with all of our Defense HEALTHY this time.

Suffice it to say Baker won't score over 30 points next time around.

If Coach Mike has TWO chances at you in a given year you are likely to have very little chance of winning them both. But then Coach McVay and that freak in SF are also cats of a different breed...
That freak in SF is so stupid looking that he lulls you into a false sense of security making you think he actually is stupid...then suddenly isn't :

Ae0jdz

But as much as I dislike that Niners team, I have to respect this guy for making the best out of a sh*tty situation and having that team still in the hunt for not only the playoffs but also the division even with all the injuries.

It does help that they have the weakest-strength-of-opponent schedule this season but they still have to go out and play the games.

Wish he, Purdy, and the rest would just lose and f*ck off, though.

That’s a good point. I was just replying to a post that said we would host the Bucs in that scenario. I think you’re right that this team could win a playoff game on the road!

According to most media types, why bother having the playoffs? The Rams are the greatest team in the history of the league 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮
Not after the Panthers beat them, now that title belongs ot the Pats, this season the Eagles, Chiefs, and Colts and maybe a few others have also been the greatest team ever.

49ers already played the Rams twice. 1-1

Not f*cking off at all which has been impressive to watch. 49ers are actually getting healthier and, although never getting Bosa and Warner back, are due to get some defensive lineman back after the bye

There is also a scenario where even if the Seahawks beat the Rams on Thursday night football, the last game of the season against the 49ers will be for all the marbles. The 49ers, assuming they won (and will not be favored to win), would be 2-0 head to head against the Seahawks with the same record. The head to head record is the first tie breaker

I do think the 49ers drop one before this though. I don't think they match up well against the Colts and their run offense

For the final four weeks of the season: Sundell not back yet? 70% to 80% optimistic for wins, depending on opponent. Sundell back and ready to go? 90% optimistic.
