@ Titans (obvious) W
Falcons (Hawks are just better) W
@ Vikings (Sam’s revenge) W
Colts (they are good, but not great) W
Rams (Sam’s revenge part 2) W
@ Panthers (see Falcons Comment) W
@ Niners (this is the only one I’m not sure about based on playoff seedings and who needs it more) W/L?

The last time I predicted at least a five game stretch of wins or losses was over a decade ago on this site and I predicted it dead on to the surprise of many as the one loss I predicted was very improbable, but it did happen.

Prove me that I’m wrong here!

Well if this trend with Darnold with these turnovers continues, then yeah. We're going to be fighting an uphill battle the rest of the season against every team... Darnold has had 9 turnovers in the past 4 games...

Like your optimism, but tough for any team to go 6-1 to finish the season.

Looked at the remaining schedule and thought, not too bad, but did you know that it's actually the fifth hardest strength of schedule in the NFL? 4 teams with winning records (Colts, Rams, Panthers, 49ers) and Vikings are not going to roll over.

  1. Minnesota Vikings
  2. New York Giants
  3. Chicago Bears
  4. Philadelphia Eagles
  5. Seattle Seahawks

A Seahawks fan friend and a Viking fan friend are going to the Viking game. It is gonna be fun for them. The Vikes fan just expects his team to lose and is shocked that they win any game. LOL

Hawks almost always seem to knock of the Vikings. It's a trip. Like Rat was saying about playing The Eagles, we always beat them. Strange stuff indeed.

Saying we're going to go 6-1 a week after our QB showed glimpses of what made him a journeyman QB across 5 teams or whatever it has been at the most important position on the field is homerism. This is the NFL. Any given Sunday.

That said, I hope you're right.

But I don't WANT to prove you wrong and I hope no one is successful in doing so.

I just want a win on Sunday 🤣🤣

But this team could beat anyone if they keep the turnovers down.
Bingo. Everything for both teams was relatively even going into Sunday's game, except one. That one was turnovers. It still is and is the one that accounted for the final result. That we came as close to winning as we did, despite that discrepancy, is the huge plus that we must bank on for the remainder of the season.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, several of these supposed winners may not turn out as planned.

Glad the OP has faith in the team (hope he's right), but one game at a time is the best approach taking nothing for certain.

We're not the ones who will prove you right or wrong. ;)
^^^This. Nobody knows what's going to happen the rest of the way. The arrow of time. At best, you make educated guesses
based upon the available information. Or sometimes you just get lucky.

One narrative that seems to be making the rounds here of late is that the Hawks are destined to play the Rams two more times this season, once in the regular season, and again in the playoffs. Could very well be the case. But I could easily envision a scenario where either the Rams or Hawks go down to an Eagles team in the playoffs. The Eagles offense has been suspect this season so far, but their defense looked damn good when they played the Lions, and they may well end up the top seed in the NFC.

6-1? Nope, 7-0. We ain't losing shit anymore. We should have beaten the god damn Rams but it's all good. The coaching staff will fix the errors Darnold made on Sunday. We signed Brenden Rice the son of Jerry Rice and I'm super excited for that. It's to the practice squad and hopefully he breaks out here. That kid has got speed and just needs to work on his YAC.

I'm in wait and see mode. Fine with that. You could make the argument that we're 0-3 against the three best teams we've played so far, the 9ers, Bucs, and Rams. I am optimistic/hopeful, mostly like what I'm seeing, but we've got to start taking down the best teams we face. It starts with the Colts and the Rams next month.
